In music we started playing strings instruments. I chose to play the cello but my teacher Mrs Jordan has started getting me to play the piano when we play as a class. I enjoy this class the most by far. Sure Alice or Austin aren't in it but neither are Natalie or her friends. It's all kids who can like people for who they are and not judge them by first looks.

Natalie and her groupies were the only ones to bother me so far. The jocks who used to mock me and mentally abuse me hadn't done anything to me. It's a good thing too, otherwise I think I might have to break some more faces.

Alice had made a few more friends while I was gone but she's been hanging out with them less and less now that I was back. Austin had friends of his own, I just had yet to meet them. I liked our little group of three people but I wouldn't mind adding a few more people as long as they weren't idiots or jerks.

I was jamming away on the piano when the bell rang. I groaned. Geography was next. It wasn't one of the classes I hated but I also didn't enjoy it as much as I did before.

I grabbed my stuff from beside the piano and walked to my locker. The custodian tried to do their best to remove the lipstick but the blue paint was still smudged with bright pink. I rolled my eyes. Serious Natalie. Is that the best you've got? A bit of makeup and harsh words aren't going to hurt me anymore.

Sitting down in the geography class I waited for the bell signalling class to start. I wasn't paying attention when someone walked in and sat down behind me.

"You're that girl who broke Natalie's nose, right?" I didn't mind that title. I smiled innocently at the person and replied.

"Why yes. That's me," when my eyes hit their face I nearly scowled. In front of me was Mitch. One of the old jerks who used to bully me. If he starts thinking he can bother me again, he has another thing coming. Like a broken nose.

"I have to admit. That was pretty brave," he grinned. I don't think he even remembers me or knows it's me.

"Yeah, well, she deserved it. For someone who used to torture me a few years back, she should of gotten more. Maybe now you'll remember me Mitch," this time I did scowl. He looked confused for a second and then realization hit him.

"You're Charisma? That same girl from grade 10?" I rolled my eyes. Was he serious?

"Yes. The same one you used to make fun of. Now please, if you'll be so kind as to get a different seat. That'd be great," I turned to face the front of the class and the bell rang.

"I think I'm good right here," I could hear the smirk on his face. I wanted to slap it off or better, shock it off.

We began the lesson. While we were writing a note I contemplated on whether or not to crush the metal pen he was writing with. I'd decided against it because I didn't want to get ink on my white clothes. Yeah, I know. So considerate of me.

I knew that he sat there just to bother me but I did my best to ignore it. I couldn't though when he started bumping me with his elbow. I could tell it was on purpose too because of how regular it was.

"You want to quit that?!" I whispered at him. The teacher was kind of strict and didn't like talking.

"Quit what?" He bumped me again.

"That right there! Hitting me with your elbow," I wanted to hit him back but if I did I was afraid I'd break his arm.

"Nah, I think I'm good," he did it again. Don't give him the satisfaction.

I went the rest of the class being bumped with his arm and getting more angry every time he did it. When the bell rang I stood right up, walking right past him as fast as I could. Of course, he just had to follow me.

"What's your next class?" He kept trying to talk to me on my way to my locker. I ignored him. When I grabbed my math textbook he made a -was it disappointed?- sound and I turned to him with an 'I don't have time for you' look on my face. He chuckled.

"I have geography and gym with you. I look forward to seeing you again... can I call you Car?" He was smirking. We were about the same height but he was a bit taller.

"No. You can't. That name is for my friends. You," I pointed at him. "Are not my friend." With that I walked away.

Even though Alice was with me, math was still incredibly boring. I was basically dead to the world the entire time until the shrill ringing if the bell brought me back to my senses. I grinned.

Lunchtime Natalie... Just you wait.
