The snapping of sparks coming from my hands were loud in the silent field. I was angry that they thought they could blow up my house with no consequences.

"What are you looking for," Austin whisper-yelled at me. I hadn't said a word for the last half an hour while we were searching. I stayed silent and sped up, he jogged to keep up with my pace.

"They're probably long go-" I stopped walking and shot him a death glare. He shut right up. I started walking again only to freeze a short time later. I heard something like the snap of a camera coming from the end of the field.

I took off like a bullet towards the sound, ignoring Austin's shouts. When I neared the end I could hear scrambling, like someone was trying to get away. I laughed like a maniac but it was lost in the wind. Who ever was following me was not expecting me to find them.

When I burst through the trees I could see someone trying to run. They were looking behind they're shoulder ever few seconds and when their eyes landed on me they stumbled. I grinned and lifted my hand. Time to go into maniac mode, I thought.

A wall of dirt and debris rose in front of the man and he nearly ran right into it. I brought the wall up to about 15 feet so there was no way he was getting over it. He scrambled around to face me and I grinned like a mental patient.

"Well, well, well, look at what I've found," I cocked my head sideways and took a step forward. He took as step back and pressed up against the wall of soil and rocks.

"Please. You don't have to hurt me," I held his hands up in a surrender.

"But you would have no problem in hurting me..." I said with fake innocence. This guy had some nerve telling me not to hurt him after he just tried to blow my home to nothing with a freaking C4.

When people in the facility managed to tick me off this bad, I went into an insane-person mode. I acted like a serial killer, talking innocently and smiling like a child with a crazed glint in my eyes.

They'd had to lock me inside my cell for hours on end when I did this, but now there was no one in my way to stop me from going after this idiot. I wasn't sure why I did this but I blamed it on being kidnapped and then surrounded by the people who did it for a year.

It did something to my subconscious and now I go into these trances without being able to stop myself. It was either that or when they experimented on my genes, they tweaked something that brought out a scary side of me, almost like I had a dormant mental disorder that was somehow enhanced when they did want it to be. Maybe I had voices in my head telling me what to do, or some unseen force was taking control of my mind to murder the people who wronged me.

"You made a big mistake trying to kill me with explosives. Not that you'd be able to," I added as an afterthought.

"Yes, I'll admit to planting the C4 but please, just listen to me. You don't have to kill me. You're not a killer," his reasonings we're going in one ear and out the other. There was nothing this guy could say to bring me out of my trance now. They'd gone to far and now the facility was going to pay by loosing another Agent.

"You don't know the first thing about me," my voice was low and deadly but I still had the creepy grin plastered on my face. "And that's why this is all the better. There's nothing you can say to keep me from getting rid of a threat," he was shaking and his eyes were bugging out of his head.

He looked to be about 30 or 40 and he was average height. I could take this guy without any effort. I wouldn't even have to use my powers. I took a step menacing step toward him. I was about to attack when I heard heavy breathing behind me.
