A/N: Deku is the number one pro hero of Japan and Eri is in Class 1-a with Aizawa a.k.a her dad as her sensei.

"Look who it is" You felt the veins bulge on the sides of your head as you observed Eri out the corner of your eyes. She was hounded by the same three people from Class 1-B that enjoyed trying to hurt her feelings. You helped her only if it was too much or they said something out of line.

"Would you leave me alone already?" You smirked quietly to yourself. Usually, she was very shy and kept to herself and never even acknowledged them.

"Oh, look the freak can actually speak." Your arm twitched but you made a promise to yourself and her to only help if it's something she won't be able to handle. Easier said than done.

"What makes you think I'm a freak? You never gave me a straight answer other than that I have red eyes. There are plenty of pro heroes including my dad who has red eyes so what's your point?" Fuck yes Eri, you show those stuck-up bastards that you're not the timid scared girl you used to be. You didn't even bother to hide the fact that you were watching them. The main one looked as if they were going to have an aneurysm and you didn't want to miss something like that.

"Well unlike them they didn't kill their parents now did they." There goes your self-control. You were not about to let some stupid fucks try and break her self-esteem that you helped her get. However, before you can even get out of your seat Eri got up and got in the bully's face with a manic grin that even unnerved you.

"Unless you want me to do the same thing to you I suggest you get out of my face. Now." Eri gripped the girl's arm surging power into it making her cringe and snatch her arm back.

"You're a monster." With that said they went to the other side of the cafeteria consistently looking back to see Eri still standing and glaring at them. It wasn't until they left that she took a seat, leaned back, and took a deep shuddering breath. That's when you swooped in and sat down next to her just looking at her. You waited until she looked at you with her big apple-colored eyes filled with unshed tears to wrap her up in your arms.

"You did amazing Eri standing up to them." She sniffled a bit making you squeeze her tighter to you. You wanted to protect her from anything and everything evil in this world even if that was physically impossible that doesn't mean you're not going to try.

"That was so scary. I didn't want to fight but, I did what you and papa said and it worked!" You nodded along as she babbled a bit the sniffles and crying making her speech a bit watery but, still understandable.

"Yes it's scary, it's always scary to stand up to a bully or a villain. It's always going to be hard but that only proves how strong and brave you truly are. You went through a lot and deserve nothing but happiness which is why your dad and I always try our best to protect it." You rubbed her silvery hair back, scratching her scalp a bit loving how she melted more into you.

"I have to protect my own happiness too." You hummed an agreement not feeling the need to speak but, just letting her enjoy your comfort and presence. After a while, she pulled back rubbing at her eyes before giving you a shy smile "Thank you." You grinned at her ruffling her hair and making her bat her hands at you.

"No need to thank me, I want to do it. You're special to me Eri and I want you to continue knowing just how special you are. On those hard days when you have nightmares or you're feeling down just remember that you have people. You have your dads, Lemillion, Sun-eater, Deku, and all the other pro heroes that helped you all those years ago. Of course, you also have me." You winked making her giggle "We will all make time for you no matter what it is. Please don't ever forget that or doubt yourself." The hand you placed on her cheek during your speech you used to pull her in for a kiss on the cheek loving how red her cheeks turned.

"You always know what to say to make me feel better." You smiled contentedly at that turning back to your food.

"Only because it's the truth." With that said the two of you went back to eating and engaging in idle chat. If the two of you were closer than normal well it's not like anyone was going to comment.
