The next morning Sam woke me up. Honestly even on the car ride to the school I was sleepy, I was thankful Sam let me sleep at least halfway until he would say something to keep me up.

"Don't be passing out while lifting." He says.
"I won't... I think. Once I go in I won't be sleeping." I say. "So what? I'll come back in like three hours?" He asks.

I nod my head getting off. When I changed out of sweat pants and only shorts. Coach was already there waiting for me.

"You ready work?" She asks throwing me a ball. "Ready as I'll ever be." I answer causing her to smile.

"We're gonna start with ball handling, go into footwork, and then work on defense drills." She says. I nod my head warming up with the ball.

After a few moments I let her know I'm ready.

It didn't take long before my body was in pain from not working out, but I pushed through. My team joining us the last hour and a half.

When we finished workout I was dripping in sweat. I changed out of my clothes and went outside to look for Sam, not taking long. "Hey! How was it?" He asks.

"It was okay... but definitely exhausting." I say. "I bet you're dripping through those clothes." He says laughing. I worry looking under my armpits and everywhere.

"I was kidding." He says grabbing my hand. "That's not funny. I am gross and I need to shower." I say. "Yes you do." He says.

I got to the dorms with Sam telling him to wait there while I showered. I didn't want to take too long or be fast. So I set a timer for 10 minutes so I would be back at the dorm at 15.

Once I got back I put deodorant and perfume. "So what'd you do when you dropped me off?" I ask.
"Well... I passed out when I got home, then a hour before I picked you up I showered, ate, and Westen came over for awhile." He says.

"Oh, what'd y'all talk about?" I ask curiously. "Mostly about football play or defense. He kinda wanted to know about this season." He says.

"I get it. The newbies or the transferred students." I say. "He's so worried or nervous about it. He thinks coach wants to sit him out most of this coming season." He explains.

"Why? Westen is good defense and offense player. Why would he even think about it?" I ask laying next to Sam.

"Honestly... I don't know. Plus I mean I help coach look for new players along with the assistant coach." He says. "You'll do a great job.... plus can't you have like two of every position?" I ask .

"Yeah, I guesss it'll be fine." He says holding me. "Now are we gonna eat or what?" I ask confused.

"Yes, plus Quinn and Westen are gonna meet us at my house cause we're going swimming." He says.
"So grab my bikini or tankini." I say to myself before getting up only to get pulled back.

"No... lets lay a little longer here.... just a little longer." He says. I'm confused at first, but accept it and hold on to him.

After about an hour of laying there together we finally decided to leave. "Hold on." He says pulling out his phone and taking a picture of us.
