i masked my scent and my eyes were now red. i can't take any risk . so i decided to arm myself with silver knife.

i rarely take silver with me. there is no need to go to this extent but since i am facing an alpha king. it's better that i keep myself with backup. i took the small voice changing device from my bag pack and placed it around my neck and put a chest binder around myself. i took a last glance at the mirror . i tied my hair in a quick bun wearing a black cap over it as i put the mask on my face leaving only my eyes to be shown .

i finished the look as i wore a black hoodie over myself. charlie informed me earlier that alex was out for a run as i believe the conference with other packs didn't went well .

locking up the door. i was now finding a plug-in board . putting one of my hand over it as i closed my eyes generating a electric pull from body. i created a spark inside. it will take an hour to build up into a fire .

i jumped out of the window going to the other side of the house. i did the same as i did in my room with what feel like three other room but this time i used a little extra power than earlier so it will be done soon , no one lives here . this wing of the house is usually vaccant so i eventually won't hurt anyone else. lastly i walked up to the main generator room nearby the parking .

there were fewer royal guards here as after what happened today everyone was busy with patrol changes . i silently entered inside the generator room. i grabbed a nearby wire coated in black cover and took all its current which caused a blackout in the entire town. guess that will be enough for creating chaos and dividing attention.

i now walked towards the woods following alex's scent. after running for few i found him. he was in his human form wearing clothes.

i silently stood for a while and stared at him. a smile formed on my lips. he is perfect for every reason. he turned around and his eyes met mine.
shit.

i took a deep breath for the last time. as he growled louder.
" who are you and how did you even dared to enter in my pack? " ... he shouted angrily. i just quietly stared at him. i didn't wanted to make the first move.

"take a guess. ! ohh lemme give you a hint. what about asking those dead royal guards whom you send for me? " i spoke. my voice sounded a little hoarse ,dark and thick. it was perfect .

i could see the blood rage in his eyes as i mentioned those guards. it took a second for him to stand in front of me.

i grabbed his hand as he went for my neck. i twisted his arm around other direction but for my shock he took over it as he turned me around locking my neck in his arm.
perfect. let it begin then.
i back kicked his leg getting out of his grasp . before even taking a second i landed a punch on his side but he dodged it . his claws were out . he kicked my side making me stumble. as his claws went for my chest ripping the chest binder. i can feel blood dripping down as i also felt my body healing the marks

"how dare a murderer stepped on my land. you won't make it out alive. i will make sure of it. "

his word felt like someone drew a knife inside me. so i am a murderer in his eyes.
"we are one. aren't we? " daeliah spoke .

we circled each other for a while

"why are you back ?" i said to my wolf
"eyes in front " . she replied.

as i looked in front he leaped on me in his wolf form.
i dodged aside as i kicked his side making him stumble. his eyes were now black.
" O. o. big bad black wolf is angry... isn't he? "
i spoke looking at him. he was conflicted. mindlinking. let's hear it out. i thought to myself. as i tried entering inside his brain. but i failed .
how???? ...
i was shocked beyond expectations.
