Davina's pov

i met with his angelic grey eyes. they were shining a little this time.

"Davina.. " his spoke. his voice was filled with happiness yet tired .

Austin stood between us as he took a step forward.

" you are mistaken sir. that girl is my girlfriend , Antonia " Austin said . i thanked austin as i didn't knew what to say if alex asked me anything and moreover after receiving today's knowledge and fact. it would be best to stay away from him and his people.

Alex didn't took a second grabbing Austin's neck .

i ran as i grabbed alex's arm.

"what are you doing and who are you? ....leave him." i said and as i looked in his eyes. i can see hurt my words caused him. he loosened austin as he took a step back.

" same eyes, same face, same scent but why is it that when you touched me. i didn't felt anything. " he spoke most likely questioning himself.

not a second later. charlie came running towards alex . he stopped dead drop in his tracks as he looked at me. he started speaking something but then stopped . alex must have mindlinked him . he stood still like ge was thinking something.

i grabbed austin's arm helping him stand up.
"are you okay? " i asked looking at him.

"i am fine. " he said as he stood up. he was angry but i am glad that he didn't fight back or anything else like that. if did there would have been another fight .

"i am sorry i mistook you for someone else. i am alpha king Alexander . " alex said as he gestured his hand forward for a hand shake.

"you really gambling deadly this time davina . how many times are we gonna break his heart. ?" my wolf spoke to me. as a wolf i can't

" Antania. " i replied as i shook his hand. spark emitted in my body from the touch. it was pleasant but deep down it hurts to know it is one sided and who else was to blame rather than my own selfish self.

"you're not from here? where are you staying? " he asked raising his head to me.

"me and my boyfriend were in town for some work. we will be leaving in a day or two Alpha. " i said as he looked a little taken back at my words. i can't tell him about max and eva. he kept silent for a while.

" we won't mind few guests. you can join us until you leave. we can take you for a little tour around the town. " he said

Rascal. he used his alpha command .

"you can't say no.
1. he used his alpha commanded. disobey him and he will know you aren't a simple wolf.

i plastered a smile knowing what is waiting for me.

"sure Alpha. " i replied back as Austin looked a little taken back by my decision.

we were going back to his place. as Austin left for the guesthouse to bring our remaining stuff . he will be back in few hours. till then i am alone with alex in his car.

"So , Antonia. where are you from? " alex asked .

" it's a small town. towards the east alpha " i replied back. it was funny and awkward for me to call him 'alpha' .

"how did you and uhmm- that vampire met? " he asked again.

" Austin. his name is austin and it is a long story " i replied as at this moment i can't make up a love story.
