Dan

I had gotten a text at around ten this morning.

PJ had planned a casual party, just to finally hang out and drink and screw around.

No cameras, just fun.

And I sure as hell needed to get out of the house.

The get-together was planned for seven, and it was five now.

Phil had been invited, as well.

We decided to bring the girls along.

I texted (y/n).

"Hey, love. Peej planned a party for about four-five hours, starting in about two. Would you like to come? 😘"

She didn't reply immediately, but she did.

"Yeah, thanks btw. give me a few. Love ya.😽"

I texted back.

"Casual.👦"

"😂 okay."

I locked my iPhone 6, and went to take a shower.

(Y/N)

I rubbed my dull eyes.

I let out a soft sigh, stretching.

Standing up from my bed, I picked out an outfit.

Rummaging through my closet, I found something nice to wear.

I pulled out a pair of black leggings, a navy blue tank top, and an Attack on Titan hoodie.

For shoes, I pulled out plain, black Vans with white laces.

I did my normal makeup, then I straightened my hair.

I looked at myself in the mirror.

The voice came back.

"He's gonna do it again," it sang. "You're a waste of time, anyway."

I sighed, and put my head in my hands.

"Should I trust him?" I whispered, mumbling. "Y-yes. I'll just.. I'll just keep the both of us away from any alcohol."

I checked the time, 6:15.

Only being to his place once, I knew it would take a bit to get there, so I decided to call Dan.

While the phone was ringing, my wrists stung and itched.

I rolled my lips in and flinched, whimpering slightly in pain, squinting my eyes.

On the third ring, Dan picked up.

"Hello!" He sang into the phone.

"Hey," I mumbled, attempting to lighten my mood. With Dan, it usually did. Although, I was still having trust issues.

"You and El about ready? " he chimed.

"Oh, I didn't know Phil invited her, I should've guessed though," I replied.

"Yeah, sorry. But are you ready?" He questioned again.

"Just about, grabbing my purse now," I grabbed the black, studded bag.

"Oka-" he said, getting cut off.

"His phone must've died," I thought.

I heard dual knocking on my front door, then it opening.

And then triple chattering.

I walked out of my room, shutting the door.

"Finally," Elise giggled, snuggling into Phil's open arm.

They giggled, and I smirked in response.

Dan

I held my arm open, gesturing towards (y/n).

"You look adorable," I said, kissing her forehead.

"Thanks," she smiled.

Fake.

When she was sad, she'd pull the same fake smile.

I brushed it off for now, but I kept in the back of my mind.

She genuinely smiled as I poke her side, grabbing her arm and pranced down the stairs.

"Dan," she giggled, although a bit pissed.

"Shh, I'm the princess now!" I replied.

"No!" She joked in a childish voice.

"Don't do that, it'll make this awkward."

I kissed her.

She smiled into the kiss.

We eventually got on the underground, heading towards our friend's house.

(Y/n) played with the ends of her aqua hair.

"It's gonna be quite small, but we'll have fun. PJ's really nice," Elise told her.

"You've met him?" She asked.

"Over your.. Time," she replied, unlocking her phone.

"Oh."

Smooth. Fucking smooth.
