"We're on our way"

It's almost night and papunta kami ngayon sa Cavite para umattend ng birthday ng mommy ni Blaze. I don't even know kung paano nag-paalam si Blaze sa mga magulang ko.

Since black and white ang theme ng party, I wore a white sleeveless fitted slit dress and an ankle strap black stiletto heels.

"Babe, nagdala ka ba ng jacket? Medyo malamig doon."

Blaze asked while looking straight at the road. I looked at him, he was wearing a white fitted polo, plain black pants and a black loafer shoes.

"Hindi, nakalimutan ko."

"I'll keep you warm nalang."

"And how will you do that?"

He looked at me. His hand went to my left cheek and pinched it.

"Ikaw, alam ko iniisip mo." I chuckled at what he said. "Pero kung gusto mo, pwede naman. I mean, we can do it here inside my car." He smirked.

I blushed, iniwas ko ang tingin ko sakanya at tumingin sa bintana. Kilalang kilala talaga ako ni Blaze lalo na sa mga ganitong bagay.

"Blaze, paano mo pala ako na paalam kila mommy?" I asked "I mean, they never allowed me to go somewhere far without them. Most especially, it's only you and me, and we're staying in Cavite."

"Your parents trust me, just like how they trust Ralph. I don't know what I did to earn their trust but I'm gonna make sure that I'll never break it."

I smiled at what he said. I felt relieved knowing that my parents trusted him.

"How was your week with Basti pala?" I asked. Ngayon nalang kami ulit nag kita because he stayed with Basti for the meantime.

"It was fun! To be honest, I kinda missed being with him." He smiled.

As I was glancing outside the window, my hands were suddenly trembling. Medyo kinabahan ako dahil baka hindi ako magustuhan ng pamilya ni Blaze. Yes, I've met his parents, his brothers pero yung mga iba niyang kamag-anak hindi ko pa nakikilala. Mamaya, hindi nila ako magustuhan.

"Hey, calm down and stop overthinking." He grabbed my hand and interwined it with his. "They will love you, don't worry." He smiled.

Damn, that smile. His smile calms my fears away. I smiled at him and decided to take a nap since malayo pa kami sa pupuntahan namin.

I'm literally drained this past week, hindi man lang ako nakapagpahinga dahil sunod sunod ang mga kailangan asikasuhin sa school. Gusto kong mag-pahinga ng mga isang buwan. Tapos tamang tulog lang at nood sa Netflix.

After an hour, ginising ako ni Blaze dahil nakarating na kami. I saw some people entering the venue. Blaze and I went outside the car, he grabbed my hand at pumasok na kami sa loob.

When we arrived inside, I was amazed. The party decorations were beautiful, lahat rin ng bisita ay sumunod sa dress code na binigay. I saw Blaze's brother, Basti talking to some guest. I waved at him and continued walking.

"Hey, mom! Happy Birthday!" Bati ni Blaze sa kaniyang ina.

"My son, it's good to see you here! Akala ko hindi ka makakapunta?" Tita Sherlyn said at agad na niyakap si Blaze.

"You're Mira right? Thank you for coming!"

"Happy Birthday po, Tita!"

I said and she hugged me too. Ang sarap pala sa feeling makatanggap ng mayakap galing sa future mother-in-law ko. Charot!
