“Congratulations, Dra. Andrada!”

Bati sa’kin ng mga nurse at doctor sa loob ng ER. This feeling is great! I’ve achieved my dream, I’m finally a doctor! I can finally help and save other people. I looked at my family who’s proud of me. Hindi ko maiwasang maiyak sa aking nakikita.

“Hi Doktora!” bati ng isang nurse, “Let me take you to your office.”

Tumango ako at sumunod sakanya. We went inside the elevator and it stopped on the 6th floor. We walked towards a door painted in blue, the nurse opened it and I saw Adrian standing in front of us, holding a bouquet of flowers and coat with my name on it.

“Welcome to your office, love” bati niya at agad na hinalikan ako sa pisngi. Ibinigay niya sa’kin ang bulaklak at coat ko na agad kong isinuot.

“Good morning to you, Dr. Alfonso,”

He smiled at me, I felt his hand snaked around my waist and pulled me close to him. His face was close to me, he was about to kiss me when I suddenly heard the door swung open and looked away.

“Mira, tara na! Papunta na si Sky sa restaurant!” sigaw ni Ralph pagkapasok sa opisina ko.

“Ha!? Andito na siya sa Pinas? Ang bilis naman.”

“Tanga, kagabi pa siya dumating. Di ka aware?”

Ani ni Ralph at lumabas na ng opisina ko. I rolled my eyes at took off my coat. Tinupi ko ito at inilagay sa lamesa. Before I go, I walked towards Adrian.

“I have to go, babe. I love you! Text nalang kita mamaya.” Hinalikan ko siya sa pisngi at agad na tumakbo para habulin si Ralph. Bakit ba kasi nagmamadali ‘yon?

“Bakit ka ba nagmamadali? May lakad ka ba?” hingal na sinabi ko nang tumigil kami sa harap ng kotse niya.

“I’m meeting someone later at the same restaurant. So please, pumasok ka na sa kotse.” Binuksan niya ang pinto ng kotse para sa’kin.

“So, who is she?” agad na tanong ko pagkapasok niya sa kotse.

“What? Anong ‘who is she’?”

“You’re obviously meeting a girl, Ralph. Look at you, you’re literally wearing a black polo with a neck tie and explain the orchids at the back of your car please.”

“I’m not meeting a girl, I’m meeting a guy.” he said,

“Don’t tell me you’re a-“

“Tanga, ewan ko sayo bala ka diyan!”

I chuckled when he suddenly shouted at me, he started the engine and we drove to the restaurant.

"Mira! You're finally here!"

"Sky? Sky! Gago bat lalo kang gumaganda? Ganyan ba talaga kapag may anak na?"

Asar ko sakanya at umupo kami ni Ralph sa harapan niya. It's been 3 years since I last saw her. She and her husband both went to Singapore since they are working there but they both decided to come back here but we didn't expect that they will bring a baby with them.

"So how is your baby boy?" tanong ni Ralph.

"He's fine," Sky smiled and showed us a picture of her baby. Aw he's so cute!
