•Diavolo DeLuca•

Davina has been quiet all car ride long, her eyes are locked on her hands which are clean. I imagine she can't stop reliving the moment; I already sent her therapist the plane because Davina kept on saying she wants to stay before we hopped in the car.

The car stopped in front of the house and Davina immediately hopped off, cradling her belly "Bunny!" I rushed after her.

My wife turned around "Wait for me here," she placed her hands on my chest. "Just wait."

"Bunny, I don't want you to be alo—"

"Please, just sit down and wait for me," she was pleading with her eyes.

A deep sigh left my mouth "Okay, bunny."

Davina turned around and walked in the direction of the master bedroom. I walked into the kitchen, grabbed a water bottle from the fridge, and went to sit on the grey sofa.

The situation is already being handled, they're making it look like a burglary gone wrong. Fuck. This is messy but I can't blame Davina for that...those monsters sold her. Honestly, I would've done the same but with a silencer. Anyway, when did she practice her aim? It was impeccable—

"Diavolo," my head turned to the left to look at Davina who was standing there, utterly naked except for a pair of black stockings up to her mid-thigh and the Louboutin heels I just bought her.

"Bunny..." my throat went dry as she approached me with a little smirk on her face. "That smirk is gonna get you fucked."

"That's exactly what I need," she carefully straddled me. "Come on, daddy, let's have some fun," her fingers nimbly unbuttoned my shirt.

This is not what she needs; she needs to cry all her anguish, anger and grief out or shoot something unanimated to let it all out...

"Davina," a deep sigh left my mouth "as much as I would like to have sex with you, we shouldn't," with my hands, I gently pushed away hers.

Her mood instantly changed "I don't want to talk about it, Diavolo," she shook her head as her eyes fell to her fidgety fingers. "They deserved it, you know that..."

"I do know that, bunny," I screwed the lid back on and placed it down on the sofa before grabbing the end of a blanket which I used to cover her. "I also know that taking a life takes a toll on the person."

Davina glanced at me with tears in her eyes "I just wanted to punish them for everything they put me through..."

"I'm not mad, bunny," I gently pinched her chin to make her look at me. "I just want you to let everything out, to cry if you need to or scream—"

"I mourned losing my parents a long time ago," she interrupted. "On the plane ride I was sure that playing strong wouldn't work and that I would end up wanting to forgive them but when I saw them I felt nothing but anger and disgust."

A deep sigh left my mouth "I know the feeling, bunny," I cupped her cheeks.

"Elena told me..." she said.

Fucking Elena.

"What did she tell you?" I acted confused.
