Chapter 45: A Journey We Call Forever

Flynn's PoV

"Kade, don't run around for now, okay? You'll get hurt."

"Yes, Mommy! But can I go play po?"

"Of course, baby. Play with your sister muna, ha? I'll just call you later 'pag andiyan na ang daddy niyo," I told the cute boy that's giving me a very bright smile right now.

"But Mommy, Dria doesn't talk to me right now. She's mad daw po," pagmamaktol naman ni sa akin kaya naman napakamot na lang ako sa batok ko at saka umupo para mapantayan ko siya.

"You can always talk to your sister naman, baby. What did you do to her ba?" Tanong ko sa batang maliit na nasa harap ko at nakita ko namang napatungo siya at saka ngumuso.

"I borrowed her math assignment po. She lent it to me, pero nasira ko po," he just pouted even more and fiddled his little fingers while he was explaining.

"Just say sorry to her, Kade. Okay? You know how your sister is. Pag nag-sorry ka sa kaniya, 'di na siya mad sa 'yo. Tapos 'wag mo na lang uulitin 'yon para hindi na siya magiging mad," I told him kaya naman he just gave me a longer pout and nodded.

I just smiled on how adorable my son is and lifted my small man up para lambingin.

"Isa pa baby, your Ate Vina is also inside. Didn't you love playing with her, hmm?" I asked little Kade who's still pouting while pinching his cheeks.

"Look," tinuro ko ang living room naming kung saan nag-lalaro si Vina at si Dria. Agad namang sumunod ang tingin ni Kade doon at nanlaki ang mga mata niya.

I giggled at his cute sight. His face immediately brightened up after seeing his Ate Vina. Everytime kasi na mag-aaway ang kambal, si Vina ang isa pa nilang takbuhan para makalaro.

And with her around, the twins eventually find themselves talking to each other and gradually being in good terms again.

"Okay, mommy. Tapos I'll talk to Dria na. Thank you po!" He gave me a small peck on my cheek then giggled afterwards. I just gave him a smile back and nodded at him before kissing his forehead and putting him down.

Agad naman siyang tumakbo sa loob ng bahay at lumapit sa dalawa. Sumunod naman ako ng tingin at nakita ko namang agd na nag-liwanag ang mukha ni Dria pero iniwas niya rin kaagad ang tingin niya.

Geez, these adorable kids.

Madalas man mag-away si Dria at si Kade, they have a very strong bond. They're always on each others backs kaya naman I feel so proud of them.

My small man Kayden Nicholas V. Tan is a very sweet child. He took on my bubbly side and always took care of his sister. He may not look like it, or may not seem like it, but he really is.

While my little daredevil Drianna Nicole V. Tan took a lot of similarities from her father. She's very quiet and serious, but she also is a loving and sweet baby. Kahit masungit siya, she is a really nice girl.

Duke and I always dreamed for this day to come. After suffering through steep hurdles and rough patches, we can finally say that we're content and happy.

Being married to him for more than six years and having two wonderful kids with him is really making me feel so lucky. Everything that's happening to me now is really unexpected and I feel so happy that everything turned out to be this way.

"Flynn! Nasan na ang man of the event? Ba't missing in action?"

Napalingon ako sa tumawag sa akin at agad na tumawa dahil sa sinabi niya. Lumapit ako sa kaniya at binigyan siya ng isang yakap since na-miss ko na rin naman siya.
