Katsuki's friends and Eli ran through the cold rain, their arms over their heads as they find a place to get cover.
"Why did it have to rain?" Mina complained as she looks down at her wet shirt.
"Eli, can't you make the temperature higher?" Kaminari jokes.
Kirishima does the same too, his hair now down and damp. "You can do that right?"
Eli looks at them while holding her gym bag on her shoulder. "I can, but not in this rain, there's practically no heat here."
Eli can't use her quirk when it's raining or when the temperature's low. She can only manipulate heat when it exists.
"Just my day." The gadget in his hand showed a pitch-black screen, meaning that his phone died.
"What's wrong?" Eli asked as she leaned over to the angered male.
Katsuki meets her gaze and rolls his eyes as he moves to Kaminari. "Oi, charge this, now." He said sternly, shoving it in the yellow-head's face.
Kaminari leaned back. "Woah! No can do, I'm still wet."
"And I'll kill you if you don't. Charge it."
"As I told you, I can't."
Katsuki grumbled before shoving the cellphone back in his wet pocket and looking far beyond the field. They were still in the school premises, just in the main building where the locker rooms were.
"How 'bout you guys come to my house? It doesn't look like the rain will stop any sooner." Akimoto suggested, looking around her friend's faces and tries to lighten the mood.
"That's a good idea!" Mina agrees, her face twinkling at the mention of Eli's home. "I need a change of clothes. ASAP!"
Eli glanced at the boys. "Don't worry, I have spare ones for you guys too." She reassures them.
Katsuki ignored the girl's invitation to her house, to him, it looks like he won't be going home in one piece in this weather.
Why did it have to fucking rain?
They all started to walk to Eli's home when the rain got lighter, it was still windy. "There's a pretty big storm approaching, the news says there might be power outages by the time the eye of the storm hits this location." He informs everyone, the group gradually running.
"Well then, let's hurry!" Kirishima yelled out as he followed Eli who was in front of him.
Katsuki was groaning all the way home, cussing under his breath because of the rain messing up his jacket. His hood was up and zipped as he ran with the group. "Can't you go any faster, Tangerine?!"
