"Oi."

"What?"

"Stop looking at me."

"I'm not looking at you."

The ash-blonde drops the book so that he'll have a good view of her. "Now you're looking."

Eli shows a kid smile before rolling her eyes playfully.

The two were now sitting at opposites sides of the area. The girl was sitting near the kids' furniture, which the shop had for some reason, and was leaning behind the blue bookshelf. Katsuki was sitting a few meters in front of her. After the short silence they created, he opted to stay away from her.

Eli also continued holding the 'stars' as their main source of heat and light. Though the girl began to feel her head become lighter, she still continued in using her quirk so that she wouldn't disturb her friend. She knew he needed her quirk.

"Stop making that weird look. You look stupid."

"Nothing new there."

"Did you answer back at me, you shitty tangerine?!" He yelled at the other side of the area.

"Nope." She popped the 'p'.

"Good. Now quiet. I'm reading something." He looked back down to his book and continued where he left off. The book he randomly picked up was about how penguins live and survive. And of course, it was a children's book.

"Why are you reading a kid's book?" The girl asked, raising her voice so that he could hear her. The way she asked was like how kids ask their parents, 'are we there yet?'

"Does it fucking matter to you?! Can you mind your own business?" He snaps. He glared at her then back to his interesting book.

Eli showed a cheeky smile as she hides behind her knees, bringing it up to her chest. "Why are you sitting there, by the way?"

"'Cuz I don't wanna sit next to you."

"You're the first person to ever tell me that." She nodded as she spoke. "People always want to sit next to me." She said in a matter-of-factly tone.

"Count me out then." He says, not looking up to meet her yellow eyes.

Eli huffs. "Come on! I don't bite."

"I'd rather not, shithead."

"Fine, have it your way." She whined.

Katsuki noticed right away that the light dimmed down. He looked up abruptly and saw that all the warm light was surrounding her and not on the ceiling. "Oi! Bring that back!"
