Chapter 19

            19//  The talk with Anna

The next morning, Nat and I wear matching outfits. Mine is white, hers is blue. We go down and have breakfast with my dad before going to Anna's house. Chelsea sent Nat the address last night.

Immediately we get to their house, I fall in love with the white bungalow. The interior was well detailed and furnished but it still had that homey feeling. When we got in, Chelsea came down and said hi before taking us to Anna's room.

She knocked out of courtesy but opened the door before Anna replied making me chuckle. Going in, the room was pretty nice. Anna had always been very clean, so her room wasn't much of a surprise.

We all exchanged heys to each other before we were in a very awkward silence.

"So, are you going to tell us what's going on with you and Tristan or.... ", Nat says breaking the silence.

" OK, I was in Minnesota for two years before coming to Futures Academy . I met Tristan there and *she pauses* we had something. We didn't have sex if that's what you're thinking, but we were really close and I didn't even know he had feelings for me until I started going out with Travis. He totally flipped on me calling me names and a few words were exchanged that I'll rather not say. He felt like I betrayed him but we weren't even dating so... I eventually apologized and we were good. He saw me in a bar one night. Travis and I had this huge quarrel and I got drunk and I got with this guy at the bar. I was high as hell and I slept with him. Tristan told Travis and we broke up. That's it", Anna says before she became a sobbing mess

"When I saw he and Travis on that day, the memories came flooding back and I wanted to leave but Nat, I really tried to be civil with him but it just hurts so much ",she says between sobs and we all hug her and tell her it's OK.

" I can't believe Tristan ",Nat says

" No ,don't blame him Nat, he really cares for you. I can tell. He's a really good person. He did nothing wrong. If you saw Amy's boyfriend getting with another girl won't you tell her ?",Anna says

"Well, yeah but" Nat says but is cut off by Anna

" But nothing, he did the right thing and you know it. I'm going to try and sort out things with Travis. It seems this is my second chance and I'll gladly take it", Anna says cleaning her tears and smiling

"But you have to promise me you'll talk to Tristan ", Anna says. She's such an angel.

"If you talk to him, then I will ",Nat says

"Then I guess I'm having a chat with Tristan when next I see him ",Anna says making us all laugh.

We have a group hug. Chelsea and I help her copy the notes she missed , while Nat explains some things to her as they're in the same class. After a few hours, we all go to the kitchen and meet Anna and Chelsea's mom there making lunch. We all stay for lunch after she insisted.

We sat down around their glass dining table and had sautee chicken and kale salad with Parmesan. Delicious.

After lunch, Nat drops me off at home before she goes home. I slept off early.

When I wake up on Sunday, I study every chance I get. Reede comes over and we study together and asked each other questions. It was fun. When he eventually left ,I was sure of something.
