It was my first time in Australia. I was walking down the street with a hot cup of chocolate in my hand. Suddenly I heard music. As I rounded the corner, I saw a boy a year or two older than me sitting on a chair with a guitar, singing.

I'm no super man
I can't take your hand
And fly you anywhere you want to go
Yeah
I can't read your mind
Like a billboard sign
And tell you everything you want to hear
But I'll be your hero

'Cause I
I could be everything you need
If you're the one for me
Like gravity
I'll be unstoppable
I, yeah I believe in destiny
I may be an ordinary guy
With heart and soul
But if you're the one for me
Then I'll be your hero
Searching high and low
Tryin' every road
But if I see your face
Well I know yeah

I put my trust to fate
That you will come my way
And if its right its undeniable yeah
I'll be your hero

I, I can be everything you need
If you're the one for me
Like gravity
I'll be unstoppable
I, yeah I believe in destiny
I may be an ordinary guy with heart and soul
But if you're the one for me
Then I'll be your hero
So incredible
Some kind of miracle
That when it's meant to be
I'll become a hero, oh
So I'll wait wait wait wait for you
Yeah I'll be your hero

Oh, I,
I can be everything you need
If you're the one for me
Like gravity
I'll be unstoppable
I, yeah I believe in destiny
I may be an ordinary guy
With heart and soul
But if you're the one for me
Then I'll be your hero

Hero

Everyone began to clap, including me. The boy looked up in surprise. Instead of thanking the crowd, he made eye contact with me and smiled. I immediately smiled back.

For some unknown reason, I stayed behind waiting for the crowd to clear. Once it had, I walked up to him. "How come you stayed behind?"

"Honestly," I chuckled. "I have no clue."

"Maybe," he said grabbing his guitar case standing up. "Maybe it was so you can buy me a cup of coffee." He smiled. His smile was so hypnotizing.

"That's not how it works!" I smirked which soon turned into a laugh.

"Okay okay. Fine" he sighed. "I'll buy. Gladly." He added a smirk at the end.

"That's more like it." I smiled.

Australia just got a lot more interesting.
