Donghyuck woke up to see Ayeon still sleeping. He couldn't help but smile to himself as he tucked a strand of hair behind her hair.

Even in her no makeup, messy hair state, the girl was simply breathtaking to him. Her features were angelic and he couldn't help but stare at her.

Ayeon stirred and snuggled up closer to him. Donghyuck decided to close his eyes, getting a bit more sleep in before having to officially get up.

...

Ayeon woke up to the sight of Donghyuck's chest. She adjusted herself so that she was face to face with the sleeping male. The events of the night before came rushing back to her, especially the words he had said to her right before she fell asleep.

"You know, you're awfully handsome up close as well." Ayeon whispered with a small smile as she lifted her hand, tracing Donghyuck's jawline.

Ayeon wasn't lying. She had felt a certain pull towards the male ever since she had saw him that day, but never had a chance to act on it until now.

Suddenly, Donghyuck's eyes stirred in his sleep, surprising her. Did he hear what I said?

"Mmm." Donghyuck said as he pulled her closer to his body. "You smell good."

"Donghyuck?" Ayeon said as Donghyuck's eyes fluttered open at the sound of her voice. His eyes widened and he pulled back.

"I'm so sorry." Donghyuck quickly said, making Ayeon chuckle.

"It's alright." Ayeon said, sitting up. She ran her fingers through her hair, trying to fix it. I look like a mess, this is so embarrassing.

Donghyuck pulled one of her arms down, rubbing a thumb against her bandaged wrist. "Are you okay, does it hurt?"

Ayeon shook her head. "No, it feels a lot better. I should be asking you that, you're the one that literally had a knife stabbed into you leg."

Donghyuck smiled at her. "I'm fine, don't worry." Donghyuck reassured her. He stretched his arms out over his head, letting out a big yawn.

"We should get up now, shouldn't we?" Ayeon asked. Donghyuck nodded, sitting up as well.

"Yeah, let's see what monstrosity Taeil's cooking." Donghyuck said, getting out of bed. Ayeon quickly helped him up and the two of them made their way to the kitchen, which contrary to what Donghyuck said, had the lovely smell of pancakes.

"The kitchen isn't on fire." Donghyuck said as Ayeon helped him hobble out.

"Of course not, you're not in here." Taeil said with a smile. The two of them sat down at the small dinning table.

"Do you need help?" Ayeon asked but Taeil shook his head.

"Just because you don't have a knife wound doesn't mean that you don't need rest." Taeil told her. "Just sit and keep Haechan occupied."

"Alright." Ayeon said, resting her chin in her hands. She saw Donghyuck take his phone out of his pocket, a serious look on his face.

"Is something wrong?" Ayeon asked. Donghyuck shook his head.

"Jeno's being a pain in ass, that's all." Donghyuck told her.

"Jeno?" Donghyuck smiled at her question.

"I forgot that you haven't really met the boys yet." Donghyuck said. He pulled up a picture of him and his friends, the ones he walks around the college with.

"We're the Phoneixes' 00 line." Donghyuck explained. "Me, Renjun, Jaemin, and Jeno."

Donghyuck pointed to each one of them as he said their names. Ayeon gulped as she stared at Jeno's face.
