"momma please braid my hair?" i smiled, walking into the lounge. it's been two months since i last braided my hair, i missed not combing my hair in the morning.

"what you want?" she looked up from the tv.

"lemonade braids with the beads at the end." i bit my nail, leaning on the wall.

"can i do it tomorrow baby? i'm so lazy right now." she pouted, taking her eyes off the tv.

"fine." i mumbled going upstairs. i walked into nola and i's room, belly flopping on my bed.

nola sat on her bed, her feet on the ground as she texted with her head down. she was wearing her boxers, sports bra and a yellow durag over her two braids. i quietly pulled out my phone and took a picture of her.

she look like the light skin, female version of daddy.

"who got you smiling like that?" i sat up. she ignored me so i quickly grabbed her phone and ran to the bathroom, reading her texts.
