The car ride to the cemetery was silent. Not a noise or a voice come out of anyone of us. I hold Troy's hand as he looks out the window.

His mom puts all of her focus onto the road. The only sound that interrupted our silence that he created was the car.

We pass many cars. I have no idea where we are going and how long it'll take.

It seems like centuries passed as we make our way up the alley to the cemetery.

Jordan parks the car by the wet, snowy grass.

Slowly and robotically, we make our way out of the car. I wrap my arms around Troy's waist to help him stand up. He stares numbly at the air.

My heart breaks, shatters, is crushed by the look on his face.

Jordan move like she is being controlled. She motions us to follow her.

"It'll be okay." I say but I'm so uncertain about this.

Years pass as I help Troy to stand up. This must be so difficult. This must be torture for him and Jordan.

Finally we make it to a grave that stands out.

"This is Tory. Tory, this is Carolina." Troy mumbles.

I awkwardly stand beside Troy. I don't know what to say, do, or to even think.

"Hi Tory." I manage out.

I feel a presence around us. Could it be Tory?

"We really miss you." Troy says.

I look up to him and see fresh tears glisten in his eyes.

Jordan looks at the grave.

"Tory we miss you so much. We know that you are in a better place right now but we ask for you to be with us today because we miss you so so so much." Jordan whispers but I manage to hear her.

I hug Troy and he puts his head by my neck. This day has gone from so happy, to sad and depressing.

I decide the only thing to do is have a 'conversation' with Tory.

I started to whisper things like my favorite color, how I met Troy, the childhood that I want to forget, and the fun times I've had with Troy.

Troy shakes in my arms. I rub his back.

"Even though I never met you, I know that you probably were so pretty and so so so nice. I wish I could've met you but God had other plans for you." I finish talking after that.

I know we've been here for more than an hour. We are freezing our butts off.

Jordan talks to Tory about work and how her father has been.

Troy has been silent and is still hugging me. My legs have officially gone numb but that's okay. I only care about Troy right now.

"We should go." His mom mumbles.

I nod and we walk back to the car.

Troy looks out the window, trying to look at the grave. His eyes are focused on the cemetery.

He finally snaps out of the gaze and looks at me.

Jordan breaks the silence.

"Tory wouldn't want us to be like this today. We should go out to eat. Are you two in?" Jordan asked us.

I am shocked. Out of what has happened out of the day, she wants to go out to eat.

"Sure." Troy mumbles.

At least he is starting to speak again without crying. That's a bonus.

We drive into Troy's driveway and into the garage.

"I'm going to take a shower. Troy you will go after me and Carolina you're more than welcome to shower her also." Jordan explained.

"I'll go to my house to get ready. I'll be back though!" I say and walk to my house.

I walk into my bathroom and take a hot shower. That is what I needed the most.

The thought of Tory creeps into my mind. I wish I could've met her.

I get out and dry off. I dry my hair and let it fall into waves. I put on jeans a nice red flannel with a black tank top under it.

I climb into Troy's room, being careful in case of ice. I jump onto his bed to make sure I'm safe.

Pictures of Tory are everywhere. I take this advantage to look at the pictures. She is certainly very pretty. She has dirty blonde hair and green eyes. She and Troy must have did a lot of stuff together.

There are pictures of them at the beach, amusement parks, and school. Maybe the real reason why they left there home-town was because it reminded them of Tory. I want to ask but I can't take that risk.

Troy comes in as I look at the pictures. He has a black button down shirt and jeans. His hair is still a little wet from his shower.

"You look nice." I compliment him. He did look nice!

"Thank you." He says and looks at all of the pictures on his wall.

Jordan screams for us to come down. His dad is by Jordan whispering something to each-other.

"Ready to go?" Jordan asked us.

We both nod and all of us head out the door. I text my mom that we are going out to eat and that I would let her know when we are coming back.

Troy and I sit in the back, and Jordan and his dad sit it the front. His dad drives us to a small diner.

We walk inside and get a booth. I sit beside Troy. Awkward silence fills the table.

Luckily the waiter came and we ordered our drinks and food.

"How was work, dad?" Troy said. He is trying to start a conversation.

"Horrible." His dad simply says.

"Carolina came with us to the grave. That was very kind of her." Jordan added.

His dad glares at me. Did I do something wrong?

Jordan whispers something to him. They are most likely are talking about me.

"Are you okay?" I mumble to Troy.

"Better. I'm better because you are here." He mumbled.

The food was delious! We left in silence.

"Carolina can we talk?" Jordan asked as we got into the car.
