Chapter 5 -Friendly encounters in Alpine Skyline

An: Sorry for the wait! I've been finishing an animation meme for A hat in time that involves Hatkid, Bowkid and Mu/Moustache girl. Now that it's finished I can continue this!

You slowly rose from your bed, stretching your back and getting out of bed to get dressed, eat breakfast and prepare for the next part of Hat kid's tour. After getting dressed you walked to your library to hear some ghostly humming

you walk into the library to see Snatcher, reading one of the books that would get covered in dust, "How's the books?" You ask, only to have the purple ghost look up then look down back into the book "They are...honestly ok, good taste of literature in some of the books" you just smiled and waved to him, walking out of your library and to your kitchen to have some toast.

While preparing you felt something cold and slim tickle your neck, you quickly turn around to find the little dweller from last night in front of you "oh it's you, thanks for helping me last night" you thanked the little dweller and rubbed the masks forehead, getting some sweet chirps from the dweller and went back to cooking until

"Hey kiddo, I forgot to mention that dweller friend of yours wanted to come with me for some reason" Snatcher shouted from the library, loud enough for possibly the whole planet to hear.

You look at the dweller and calmly smile at them "do you have a name friend?" You ask the dweller, who nods and pushes some flour randomly placed in your kitchen counter, tracing out two symbols

To you the first symbol was a wolf with a ring over it's head and the other a moon "Okamimoon?" You asked and the dweller shook their mask, tracing out a crossed out I above the first symbol and a u above the second symbol. "Is your name Okamun?" The dweller chirped at your answer "well Okamun, it's nice to meet you" you say and get some toast ready, then head to Hat kid's ship to your next destination

Apline Skyline

You looked around, astonished at all the colours and the patterns on the banners "this place is-" "amazing? Because it sure is!" You jolted up from the voice to see a little girl with a blue bow wrapped around their head "Bow kid! You came to see Alpine Skyline finally?" Hat kid asks giving Bow kid a smug grin "well after going to Nyakuza Metro and seeing the ads for this place I decided to take a look" Bow kid explains and looking up at you "family member or friend?" Family, she's my cousin (Y/N)" Hat kid says to Bow kid, you lower to Bow kid's level

"pleasure to meet you Bow kid" "pleasure to meet you as well" Bow kid chirps and looks to Hat kid "are you guys having an adventure here? If so can I come?" Bow kid asks Hat kid, your cousin looks at you with puppy dog eyes so you say "the more the merrier"

Bow kid jumps up and down and hugs you and Hat kid "Thank you! Thank you" You hug Bow kid back and let go of her to stand up "first things first, (Y/N) you need a grapple badge to go across the place or you might fall down there" Hat kid explains pointing down to the cloudy bottom, giving you a bit of fright "would a grappling hook do?" You asked and Hat kid nods with intrigue. You use your teleportation device to obtain a grappling hook and prepare for one peck of a ride

Alpine Skyline was honestly a nice place, apart from Hat kid and Bow kid almost falling from the windmill constantly, those greaser-looking birds bumping into your legs at the birdhouse and the high risk of death at the lava cake. Now the last part you, Hat kid and Bow kid were gliding to was the Twilight bell, apparently the Twilight bell was important to the tour, and to the residents living there.

Arriving to the Twilight bell, you we're shocked to see how big the bell was, questioning how it's being held up. "Good lord that's a big bell!" You shout underneath it, "Biggest bell I've ever seen" Hat kid and Bow kid both reply.

You howl underneath the bell, the sound of your echo in the bell  boomed, causing you, Hat kid and Bow kid to step out from under the bell. "Well, I can honestly see this place being used by photographers, with all this space, the view of the village from other parts of this place and the cloudy bottom" you say, Bow kid nods to your words "it really is a good place".

Hat kid stood up walking over to you, "I wish we could stay longer but half of the day has already flown by and there's one more place on the tour you need to see" you nod and turn to Bow kid "are you staying here?", Bow kid shakes her head walking up to you and Hat kid "Not really, Hat kid and I are having a sleepover tonight when we were at the windmill" she boasts. Hat kid fires up her teleportation device and the three of you were back on Hat kid's ship.

Bow kid followed Hat kid to her room and Hat kid told you to wait in your room until they were in your room.

5 minutes later...
Hat kid and Bow kid entered your room wearing cat headbands, face masks with a feline expression on them and some baggy clothing. You noticed they also head baseball bats with stickers covering them "what's with the gang look?" You ask the two, "well the last place on the tour is crawling with Nyakuza so you need to look like one to blend in" Bow kid explains, Hat kid goes through your closet and grabs some clothing, Bow kid rushes out of your room along with Hat kid, before Hat kid placed the chosen clothing she grabbed onto your bed.

You look at the clothing your cousin grabbed and changed into them. To be honest, you looked like a thug in your perspective but if this is what everyone at the last location wears, your ok with it.

You walk out to where Hat kid and Bow kid are, the two of them look at you with grins on their faces

"Told you she would fit in well with what I chose" Hat kid nudged Bow kid who nods, "we should get going since she might close up shop soon" Bowkid mutters to Hat  kid who agrees and grabs you and Bow kids hands, you watch as the view of your ship shifted into a dark, neon like underground.

Hat kid and Bow kid run in front of you to shout

"Welcome to the Nyakuza Metro!"
