LUNA WAS STILL OUT OF HER MIND, to say the least.
She was lying on her bed when her mind started to fly away from her skull, figuratively speaking of course. It was what she felt as she lied there, unmoving. For some unknown reason, the way Jasper saved her made her feel...wanted. The way Jasper held her made her heart hammer against her chest.
Her hand slowly made its way to her chest to palm the part where she could feel the fast beating of her heart.
What the hell is happening? Luna thought.
She wasn't one to like someone that easily. Definitely not her. She was picky and judgmental. Not that Jasper wasn't a perfect being but still, it was unusual for her to fall for someone that easy. Unless she's not exactly falling for him.
Snapping back to reality, she concluded that maybe she was simply grateful to Jasper for saving her life. That's probably why she feels this way towards him. All she has to do was thank him for it so that she wouldn't be burdened by this so-called 'feelings' for him.
As if on cue, Bella knocked on her twin sister's door, opening it enough to slid her head on the gap.
"Hey, I'm just gonna hang out with the Cullen's." Bella informed her.
This made the raven-haired girl shoot upright on her bed, her blue eyes widening and her pupils dilating once again.
Bella notices how dark it is in her room that it made her furrow her eyebrows.
"Aren't you past your emo phase?" said Bella as she waltzed into her room and pulls the curtains of her room open, letting into the room what little daylight they have left.
Her eyes fell on her boyfriend, Edward, leaning on his car at the front of their house. The vampire sent a smile towards Bella and she returned it before glancing back at her sister.
"I'm gonna go. Edward's here." Bella said.
But before Bella could even move from her position by the window, Luna spoke up.
"Can I come with?" asked Luna.
Bella raises an eyebrow towards her twin. "Really? Why?"
Luna climbs off of her bed with her gaze still fixated on Bella.
"Well, I didn't really get to thank Jasper earlier for saving my life." Luna said.
A smile stretched across Bella's face as she crosses her arms against her chest, looking at Luna with amusement.
