Choice...
Ilang araw ang dumaan matapos akong bumisita sa puntod ni Ryle. Supposedly, Denise should be here the next day pero dahil nadelay ang flight niya, ngayon pa lang siya makakauwi dito. Sila Lance naman ay hindi pa ako kinocontact since then and wala namang kaso sa'kin 'yon.
Now, i'm just preparing myself dahil paniguradong dadakdakan na naman ako ni Denise. After i told her that i met them last time, she just kept on reminding me on what i should've done.
While eating my breakfast, hindi ko napansing nakatulala na pala ako at inabot na ng isang oras sa harap ng pagkain.
"Are you just having your breakfast now?!"
Gulat akong napalingon sa may pintuan nang makita si Denise na nakapamaywang. Akala ko naman ay tanghali pa siya darating dahil sa traffic!
"As you can see, yes. So will you please minimize your voice?"
"You have a lot of stories to share with me! And duh, i'm in my house so i can raise my voice if i want to!"
"You know that you irritate the hell out of me right?" Inis kong tanong.
"Of course. We've been friends for more than four years na kaya!"
"I hate you!" Inis kong sigaw sa kaniya.
"The feeling is mutual! Anyway, i have a surprise for you!"
I raised an eyebrow dahil hindi naman ako nag-e-expect ng surprise sa kaniya and as if i need one!
"What it it?"
Imbis na sagutin ako ay sumilip lang siya sa labas.
"Come in!" Tawag niya bigla.
Tinuon ko ang pansin ko sa labas para abangan kung sino ang pinapapasok niya. Nang makita ito ay ilang beses pa akong napakurap. Namamalikmata lang naman ako 'di ba? I' just imagining things!
"Hey!" Buhay na buhay na bati niya.
Awkward akong napangiti. I'm not against him at all about being here, but i don't want to see right now either!
"We meet again." Tanging nasabi ko na lang.
"Yeah. You didn't tell me that you're finally going home?" Medyo nagtatampo pang aniya.
"My bad. You didn't bother to message me e." maarteng sabi ko
"I texted you."
I froze. Now that i think of it, he actually did and i just ignored it!
"Y-yeah, exactly on the schedule of my flight. Nice timing." I tried to sound a bir sarcastic para naman hindi halatang napahiya ako!
"Alright, that's my fault. Now, maybe i can ask you out, right?"
Nanlaki ang mata ko dahil sa sinabi niya. Kakauwi niya lang pero nagyayaya agad siya ng gala? Wala ba siyamg kapaguran?
"Seriously, guys? I'm still here oh!" Biglang reklamo ni Denise.
I swear, lagot siya sa'kin mamaya.
"Oh, you're still here?" Pang-aasar ko sa kaniya.
"Yes, my dear best friend. Busy lang talaga kayo sa mundo niyong dalawa ni Tyler!"
I just grinned at her. Talagang lagot siya sa'kin mamaya!
"By the way, why are you two together?" I curiously asked.
"Oh, we met few days ago then i told him that you're already here so we decided to go back together."
"And you didn't tell me?"
