We had just arrived to a bar in France on our first off day before the real practice for the World Cup start.
The team being who we are decided it would be a great idea to go to a bar since everyone was of legal age here.
Being 19, you couldn't help but to agree since you wouldn't have to use your fake ID.
How the team would kill you if they found out about it. Since joining a few months ago and being the youngest, they had taken to babying you and being super protective.
"Everyone please don't get to wild and look out for everyone, especially the young ones" Carli said as everyone separated. Some going to the bar and other going for a table.
"Follow us young one, we will show you the ways" Kelley said with a smile with Emily next her grabbing your hand to direct you to the bar, only being stopped by Julie
"You two will definitely not be doing that. She'll come with us" Julie said as she lead youto a table with Christen, were the more mature ones where.
Your smile fell a little since you knew you would have a had fun with Kelley and Emily since they fit you vibe more
You sat there and listen to them talk for a while before you decided to get a drink
"Where are you going?" Carli asked looking at you
"To get a drink?" I answered confused
"No" Christen said with a stern look as you stared at her in shock
"She can have one. Come on kid, I'll go with you" Tobin said giving Christen a reassuring smile and I gave her a thankful smile.
You followed her to the bar and pushed your wayup to the bar.
You instantly got the bartender attention and giving him a charming smile, "I'll have a jack and coke" you said as you felt Tobin's eyes on you
"Don't be so shocked, I'm in college after all" I said as she just shook her head at me
"Better watch yourself, the girls aren't going to like you drinking too much" as you just waved her off, taking your drink from the bartender.
"Don't worry, I can handle my self" you responded before taking of towards the dance floor with your drink since Tobin was still waiting for her drink
"(Y/n)" she yelled but you kept going, a smile on your face
Tobin quickly grabbed her drink before heading back to the table
"Where is (y/n)?" Christen asked, being the first to realize you weren't with Tobin
"Dancing?" Tobin said sheepishly as she took a seat next to Christen
"You let her go by herself, she is still a kid" Julie said glaring at Tobin
"Doesn't look like she is a kid" ash said with a laugh as everyone looked to find you on the dance floor, already dancing with a lady.
"I'm going to get her" Carli said going to stand up, only to be stopped by ash and Tobin
"Let her have some fun, she can't do this back home" Tobin said
"Am I the only one that thinks she is to comfortable for this to be her first time in a bar?" Becky asked as she continued to watch you
The group continued to watch you move to the bar to get another drink and a few shots before making you way back to the dance floor.
"The kid has game" Megan said appearing with a laugh as they watched you dance with another women.
"I don't like this" Christen said glaring at girl
"I'm starting to agree with Becky" Julie said
"What? You think the kid has a fake that she uses back in college?" ash said laughing but quickly stopped laughing at the other women's face
"She better not, does she does know how much trouble she can get in?" Carli said
They watched as you finally made your way over to Kelley and Emily, bring the women with you.
That's when they saw you heading towards an exit with women.
"Hell no, that's not happening" Julie said jumping to her feet with Carli, Christen, Becky.
They stopped you near the exist, and you eyes widen as you looked at them with a drunken smile while they glared or gave you a stern look.
"Hey you guys" you said with your arm still around the lady who was looking between you and your teammates with confusion
"Where do you think you are going?" Julie asked with her hand on her hip
"Out?" You said awkwardly as the older women glared at the lady, causing her to leave
You watched her go back to the dance floor before turn around with a pout to the older women
"Why would you do that?" You asked
"You are to young to be picking women up at a bar and leaving with them, let alone being at a bar" Carli said
"Also, when we get back to the states. We want your fake ID" Becky said as you expression changed to shock
"How do you know about that?" You asked
"I wasn't for sure until now" Becky said with a smirk as you rolled you eyes
"That's fine, I won't need it anymore" you answered with a smirk
"Why is that?" Christen asked as all of them now looked you confused since you are still not legal in the states
"Well umm, you see here, is that I'm not actually returning to college after the World Cup" you said with an awkward smile
"Your dropping out!" Julie said while the other looked just as shocked
"To play professional" you said with a huge smile
"You are playing in Europe aren't you? That's why you won't need a fake, your legal here" Carli said as you nodded you, still holding the big smile on your face.
They all looked at you with looks of defeat at the realization that even if they tried to stop you now, they wouldn't have control over you once everyone left.
"Go have fun" Christen said with a a defeated look
"But no leaving with anyone not on the team!" Julie said sternly as you nodded happily. Going to joined your teammates on the dance floor while they made their way back to the table.
