Chapter 17

Sachi's POV

I felt as if some burden was taken off my shoulder. I don't know why I shared everything with him. I looked at him. Our lips were just inches away. He placed his lips on mine. I didn't know how to react. I just closed my eyes tightly. He was kissing me softly. My whole body was set on fire. I kept my hands on his chest to stop him but I was just not able to push him. I wanted him to stop and not at the same time. I moved my face a little away from him and regretted it instantly. He stopped the kiss and groaned in frustration. He moved away from me. I was looking at the ground. I couldn't even look at him. I suddenly started feeling hot.

"Do you want to go inside or home?" He asked me.

"Home." I said in soft voice. I don't want to meet anyone now. We went towards the parking area. I messaged Ro that I was leaving. We sat in his car and he started driving. I was just looking out of the window to avoid him.

We reached home and I rushed towards my room. I changed and lied on my bed. The kiss was just running in mind. The feel of his lips on mine was heavenly. I want to feel his lips again.

"My God! What is wrong with you Sachi? Just shut up. He is getting married to someone else and you are thinking about his kiss." My inner voice said in anger.

"But he is my husband." I said. What the hell am I thinking?

"You forgot that you are getting a divorce. He is just your husband on paper. Don't tell me you have fallen in love with him?" My inner voice asked me sarcastically.

"No. I don't love him. Just be quite and let me sleep." I said and tried to sleep. I finally fell in deep sleep.

I got up early and quickly got ready. I was nervous to face him. I came out of the room and at the same time he came out of his room. He was smiling at me but I just avoided him. I came downstairs and saw servants serving the breakfast. I was about to move towards the dinning table but my cell phone started ringing. I looked at the caller. I knew he would call me but didn't expected it to be this early.

"Hi my baby, how are you?" I said

"I missed you so much. You are coming for my birthday right?" He said.

"Even I missed you baby. I am so sorry I wouldn't be able to come for your birthday." I said sadly.

"If you will not come, I will not cut the cake and will not eat anything. Bye" He said in anger.

"Baby listen please it is really not possible for me to come. You are my cute baby...." Before I could say anything further, he cut the call.

"His tantrums are exclusive only for me." I said.

How will I go leaving all this work? Yesterday everything got messed up. Now the work has just got doubled. I need to decorate his room before his marriage. I started feeling uneasy with the thought of his marriage. I shouldn't get attached to him. I will be leaving this place soon.

I went to have my breakfast. He came and sat in his place. He was continuously staring at me. I was just avoiding him and not even looking at him. I had my breakfast and went to check his room work.

It was afternoon when Ro called me and told me that he is coming to see me. I should tell him I would not be able to come. I came down and was waiting for him in the hall. Soon he came and greeted me.

"I am really sorry. I won't be able to go to Rajasthan with you." Ro said.

"I was planning to not go but you know how stubborn he is. He literally blackmailed me to not eat anything if I am not present on his birthday."

"That means you are going right?" Ro said and I simply nodded my head.

"But how will you go alone? Do one thing go with Riya." Ro said.

"No. she can't leave the work and come with me." I said.

"But you know you can't go to Udaipur alone. Dhruv will kill me if he finds out you are travelling alone."

"Mom I need to go to Udaipur for some days for a meeting." Mr Rude yelled entering the house. He seemed to be quite happy. His smile got converted into a frown the moment he saw in our direction. What is the meaning of his frown?

"Perfect." Ro said. He waved at Mr Rude and he came and stood beside us.

"You are going to Udaipur. Would you mind if Sachi accompanies you?" Ro said making me shock. Here I am trying to avoid him and he wants me to go with him.

"No let it be. I will not go this time." I said.

"Yaar Sachi he is going to the same destination. You just need to accompany him in the flights. What is a problem in that? If you won't go with him, I will have to come with you cancelling my important shoot." Ro said. I told him he is my husband. Why is he acting all dumb?

"I can go with kishmish." I said.

"I am not dumb. I asked him and he said he is really busy for the next two days. Tomorrow is your baby's birthday. I think you don't want to miss it." Ro said.

"Why does she need to be accompanied by somebody? She can go all alone I think." Mr Rude said trying to hide his anger but it was clearly understood by his tone.

"Because Dhruv is over possessive about her. He will kill me if he finds that she went to Udaipur alone. Do you have any problem if she comes with you?" Ro asked him.

"No. I don't mind if she accompanies me." Mr Rude said.

"Thank you so much yaar. You solved all my problem." Ro hugged Aarav and left.

"Desperate to attend your baby's birthday." He said sarcastically and went towards his room. What did he thought whom was I calling baby? Was Mr Rude jealous? I wanted to laugh at that thought. Why will he be jealous? Who am I to him? No one. I am getting crazy. I need to stay away from him. He is making me mad.

I went in my room and started packing my bag. Mr Rude came in my room and gave me the flight ticket and told me to be on time. He was rude and seemed in anger. I informed uncle and aunty that I need to go to Udaipur for some personal work. I hope no more drama happens in Udaipur
