Sharing Inventions Between Father, Daughter And Co-Worker

Being a single father worried Fenton a lot more than he had originally planned for.

Brushing her hair?, He could do that!, Helping Saoirse care for her... cat? , No problem but working on a scientific project with his mentor Dr Gearloose did prove to be a problem.

He had to be a positive role-model for his child...but how could he when Dr Gearloose was constantly making him do small tasks that weren't really scientific.

At times he caught Saoirse looking at him, Confused of his type of work before Fenton had to bravely ask Manny to distract her from developing questions about his internship.

On the other hand, Saoirse felt her guardian was hiding something from her, Multiple times Fenton had told her about the work Dr Gearloose has been working on and how he helped out.

But now, Saoirse wondered why Fenton was doing janitorial duties instead of scientific jobs for Dr Gearloose as he had previously stated to her.

It got to the point that Saoirse listened to Fenton and Dr Gearloose's interactions with each other and wrote down everything that went on as evidence, Just in case her abuela got curious about her son's internship.

Eventually Dr Gearloose found out about her little detective work.

Much to Fenton's astonishment, Gyro didn't blow a fuse like he did with one of the members of Scrooge McDuck's board or even behind Scrooge's back.

Gyro found her rather clever, Writing in different languages in order to try and fool him but Gyro just closed the little book and patted her head before walking away.

It was the only time Fenton saw Gyro smile as he joked about her becoming a mini detective before she became an adult which slightly terrified him before he continued with his daily tasks.

Back at home when M'ma Cabrera asked how was their day at the lab, Saoirse could only shrug which was her honest answer whilst Fenton had to cover up by trying to explain what Gyro was working on.

Which was always interrupted by her telenovela, Causing relief to fill Fenton....until he caught his daughter staring at him before going into her room, Picking up Eevee as she closed the door as gently as possible.

Day after Day, Saoirse kept an eye on Fenton, watching as he mopped the floors, Sorted out Dr Gearloose's notes and the most frequent, going out to retrieve Dr Gearloose's coffee.

It silently worried the girl as Fenton had to leave for another coffee run for Dr Gearloose for the day and gave her a little kiss on the forehead before he left her with Manny.

Manny saw how the girl looked at the intern whenever he left and how her face slightly saddened once he had left the lab, Picking her up to try and make her smile.

He tried his best to cheer her up by playing chess with her, Throwing it across the room once he lost but got comforted by the little one patting his head to help his anger.

Lil Bulb saw how the girl calmed down the statue's anger and was impressed by her taming the wild creature but he was slightly bored on how the rampage ended quickly.
