Ginny,

They're not letting you leave the house, either? Your daft brother is keeping me locked inside because, apparently, Diagon Alley has been taken over by Death Eaters. He doesn't trust me enough to go outside—he thinks I'll hex one of them and get myself killed.

Is he wrong? No. But hexing Death Eaters brings me so much joy.

But how are you really? Your mum said she was considering not sending you back to Hogwarts this term. Is that true? If it is, you're more than welcome to stay with us. Tell Molly not to worry, Bellamy will teach you everything you need to know for sixth year.

Anyway, I just thought I'd tell you I love you and miss you. I'll try to convince Fred that me coming to visit won't result in my immediate and untimely death.

Alright, well, I'll talk to you soon.

Love, your sister,

Meely.

Fleur,

How's married life? And how is the cottage? Bill showed me pictures of the place before he bought it and it looks gorgeous. I'm quite jealous.

Honestly, Fleur, I need some advice. I was doing laundry the other day and I found a box in a pair of Fred's pants. I didn't open it—I was too scared to—but it looked like a ring box. Do you think he's going to propose? Like, actually propose?

I don't know whether or not I want him to. I really could use the wise words of my only married friend right now. Should I tell him I found it? Or should I keep it from him?

It's so hard not telling him when we're cooped up in the same apartment for twenty four hours a day.

And Fleur, he's been talking in his sleep a lot. I think he's having nightmares that he hasn't been telling me about. I'm worried about him.

Sorry to drone on like that, love. I don't want to stress you out a week into your marriage.

Love you!

Meely.

Gabrielle,

Bonjour amour! Tu me manques, jolie fille!

Ton ami,

Amelia Bishop.

[Hello, love! I miss you, pretty girl! Your sister tells me that you're going back to Beauxbatons in a few weeks. That's very exciting! Also, how is my French coming along? I've been practicing with my sister, but I'm afraid I'm not fluent just yet. Hopefully these letters help me get better. I'm sending along some sweets from England for you to try—you'll have to tell me how you like them. Send me some sweets from France! I'd love to try them.

Your friend,

Amelia Bishop.

hello friends
