It turned out that Molly did let Fred and George out for a few hours towards the end of the day, and the twins spent their evening at the Diggory house.

Amelia pulled Fred up the stairs, grinning ear to ear, and led him to the bedroom she occupied. They laid together on the narrow bed for a while and simply enjoyed being alone together for the first time in months.

"I missed this." She said quietly, pressing a kiss to the side of his neck.

Fred rolled over so he was hovering above her. "Yeah? Really?" He said with a smirk.

He moved to kiss down her neck, collarbones, and chest before grabbing his wand and, with a flick of his wrist, locking the door.
