Narcissa,
I hope it's alright that I'm writing you this letter. I understand that we've only met once, only had one tiny little conversation, but I figured I should send you an update.
I had my baby last week. He's perfect, truly perfect. He's an angel.
We named him Oliver, by the way.
You could've killed me that day. I don't know if you were planning to and decided not to once I said I was pregnant, or if you were never planning on killing me at all.
I talked to Harry Potter about it, later on. He said you spared him too, saved his life.
Mother to mother, can I tell you a secret?
I can tell from the one interaction we had that you would do anything for your son, just like I would do anything for mine. Maybe you decided not to kill me because you're a mother. Maybe you were just trying to find Draco.
Either way, thank you. I would like to invite you over to meet Oliver, if you'd like. It's totally fine if you don't want to. But as a thank you, for allowing me to live that day, I'd like to have you over for tea sometime and to meet him.
Kind regards,
Amelia Bishop
Oliver,
Hey, Cap.
Did you know I named my son after you? Well, we actually named him Oliver Percy Weasley, but still.
Not only were you the best Quidditch captain I've ever had, but you saved my life that day last year. I wouldn't be writing this letter if you hadn't been there.
So thanks, Oliver. I owe you one. Or two. Or a hundred.
Let me know when your games are—maybe me and baby Oliver can catch a match or two.
Much love,
Meely Bishop (#13 on the pitch, #1 in your heart)
my baby had a baby 🥺
