33. Garrett

Aro stood up and motioned for Demitri to go do something. "Well when I found out about your mate I decided to have Demitri track him down" he said with a smile. I gave him a loving smile because he was so much kinder than people gave him credit for, sure he's power hungry and strict but he is also compassionate. He gave them a remorseful look "I am truly sorry for your loss and I know this does not replace the family you lost but I hope this eases some of your pain" he said as the throne room doors opened and in walked Garret and Demitri.

           
           You could instantly see the connection between Kate and Garrett. "Garrett here was reluctant to come with us but when we explained we knew who his mate was he jumped at the chance" Aro said with a smile. Kate gave him a charming smile while Garret walked up to her and gave her one of those old timey hand kisses but not in a weird way, in a hot way. Caius immediately grabbed me and pulled me into his lap when I started practically drooling. "Oh don't be jealous my warrior, he's got nothing on you, any of you" I said when I saw him and his brothers pouting in my direction. God there worse attention whores then my cats ....and thats fucking saying something...and they purr....there vampirecats .....yea I'm calling them that at some point just to see there faces.
            When I tuned into everything around me Laurent was walking up to the podium where are thrones are hesitantly. "Thank you my queen, I will forever be in your debt. You have given me an eternity of happiness with my mate instead of a horrible death by those dogs" he said sincerely. I gave him a beaming smile "I always thought you could do more and Irena doesn't deserve to finally find you just to lose you. Honestly the Cullens broke so many Laws and for you to become collateral was just foolish" I said reassuringly. When I said the Cullens broke laws that got the attention of the Denali's again. "What laws did they break my queen?" Elizer said while the whole family looked at me with curiosity.
          Oh my fucking god sometimes im stupid...should have told them they broke laws first...damnit lia.
"They exposed the secret to a human then proceeded to leave one half of a true mated pair alive after killing her mate and then left said human with knowledge of this world and a deranged mate after her" I said with a frown of sympathy on my face because in hindsight the Cullens are idiots. It was funny watching all sadness leave them to be replaced by anger at who they considered family.
           The entire Denali coven started ranting about the Cullens' stupidity but no one was louder than Kate. The look in Garretts eyes as he watched his mate go on a tirade was of absolute adoration. When they had all finally calmed down he said "I would follow you anywhere" and I had to hold in my squeel cuz oh my fucking god he said it....yyyaaaayy.

           After I had my fangirl moment I could see all the Denali's had lost almost all of their sadness for the Cullens. Good served them right. The fucking Cullens are the biggest got damn idiots...who leaves one half of a true mated pair alive? That's just asking for it. Me and Bella are cool now but by the Law they should have either turned her or killed her when they left...fucking idiots and then they have the audacity to call us corrupt like they didn't completely break the law. 
           After everyone had calmed down we had all gone our separate ways on good terms. We had most definitely secured there aliance in the future. "Now all that's left is the irish and Egyptian covens. Once they are brought to our side no one will truly have the ability to overthrow us" I said with a smirk directed at my mates. They smiled at me in adortion "you are truly meant to be queen mi amore" Marcus said giving me a kiss and taking me from Caius's lap. Caius pouted but nodded in agreement to his statement. "Well let's not forget who had the sweet idea to bring Garrett" I said getting up and offering Aro a loving kiss. He had a shy smile on his face and I just gave him another kiss before settling back in Marcus's lap.
          "I'm just happy that they didn't try and get us to free the remaining Cullens, have you seen anything new from Alice?" I asked Aro. He had a considerate look on his face. "You know if you don't tell me I will just force it out of you" I said with a look that screamed "don't challenge me". He nodded before speaking "the Romanians have been searching for people with gifts, that is the only piece of information worthy of mentioning. I only hesitated to tell you cara mia because I want you safe" he said, giving me puppy eyes. God damn it that face ....I can't stay mad at him he's too cute.
            I gave him a smile showing my forgiveness "I know baby I just don't like being out of the loop. Trust me I know while i'm still human i'm in danger, I understand my position. But I'm not fragile and I am your equal and will be treated as such" I said trying to be firm but kind at the same time. All my mates Immediately nodded and surrounding me in a purring mate hug that was just great.

ok guys hope u liked it. This one was more of a short fluffy chapter but I had so much fun writing it. Hope u guys like what i did with Laurent i always thought he was being a dumbass. He got killed for nothing so I fixed it. Happy reading.
