Californian tribes and colonies

Descriptions: the Paleoindians and Homo erectus moves within California, during their colonization and recolonization. 

Locations of their homes: deserts, forests and national parks. 

Homes: dwellings and treehouses.

Colonists: Homo erectus and Paleoindians.

Animals they tamed: America lions, Columbian mammoths (transportation only), dire wolves, gray wolves, ringtail cats, bobcats, feral cats, feral dogs and feral horses.

Game they hunt: maybe Northern elephant seals, barbary sheep, longhorn bison, ancient bison, tule elk, fallow deer, mule deer, black-tail deer, whitetail deer, pronghorns, bighorn sheep, wild boars, kudu deer, ornithomimuses and Sierra Nevada bighorn sheep.

The reason why they tamed Columbian mammoths is because they would use them as a source of transportation. In which they would get around. They would also tend to be by the Russian River. They would also sit on hills and watch trains go by. They would also head to beaches, if they are lucky enough to travel so far.
