Description: Dater Mountain Nature Park and Bear Mountain State Park are the only national parks within the tiny state.

Locations of their homes: the two national parks, forests, Long Island, New York, near Connecticut River and by the Atlantic Ocean.

Homes: dwellings, caves and stilt houses.

Colonists: Paleoindians and Neanderthals.

Animals they tamed: gray wolves and dire wolves.

Game they hunt: whitetail deer, moose, mastodons, ancient bison and stag moose.

The only reason why they decided to also live by the ocean was because they like the water. Not to mention they managed to also built boats to colonize Long Island, New York.

The Connecticut River also became a home for them is because there was plenty of water to use.
