I was still whispering back and forth between the small boy, that was until I notice Deku hadn't shifted his gaze from me or the boy. His dimples were visible as he held a soft smile and held his head in his right hand with all the scars. His eyes were warm and gazed into mine once I caught his stare. He seemed completely zoned out as he looked so genuinely invested in something that he had never moved to participate in. His smile widened slightly signaling that he wasn't zoned out, but just watching me and the kid. I felt my cheeks warm and quickly went back to talking with the kid.

The kid had a smile on his face and in return, I raised my eyebrow. He giggled making heart hands, I could only shake my head, "You are very nosey in other people's matters." I was teasing him as I booped his nose. He was laughing all the while and I couldn't help but smile.
I heard a groan and swiveled give the chief a glare. "Is something the matter?" It wasn't a question and I could tell she was unhappy with my verbalization.

"Oh my, why is there such venom in your tone? I thought you were a bug and not a snake." She shifted her weight and looked at me with her head to the side.
Was this really happening? It seemed like something from a movie, was she really acting like a kid about this? I took one glance over her. Yes, she was and she had no problem with it.
Shaking my head and deciding to drop it, I went to take up the empty containers of styrofoam that once held the ramen.
"Well miss, I am going to wait for his mother outside of..." I looked up and saw that Deku was mouthing to me, Don't leave me with her as his eyes flicked towards her while he was giving you a look of panic, "...the station. Deku do you want to help me carry him out there?" I nodded my head to the kid and he tilted his head.

Deku sighed in relief as he stood up from the table meanwhile the chief was ready to kill me. I took the empty ramen from him as I went to open the door standing on the other side already was a woman and the officer who I had seen at the front desk prior.

"Ahh, right on cue!" The officer stands with a hearty laugh. I turned and saw Deku with the kid in his arms who looked kind of sad.

The woman was instantly releasing a sigh as she saw her son. She had a mole similar to his above her left eyebrow, "You know me and your father were getting off at every train stop while we waited for the police? Sweetie, you had me worried to death!"

The boy looked down and fiddled with his hands, "I'm sorry momma."

Deku was smiling at the kid as he spoke, "Oh but even if you got lost you were still very smart. You choose such a nice person to ask."
The kid laughed and you playfully teased him by bopping his nose, "You were a great kid! Make sure to try and stay with your mom from now on, okay?"
I held up my pinky and he gasped as I nodded, "Yes, pinky promise. It's a big responsibility and I think you are up for the challenge, you are a very brave kid and are going to be the next best hero, huh?"
He nodded his head vigorously and locked his pinky finger with mine. "Yes, Roach! I will work super duper hard and be the bestest!"

I couldn't help but giggle at the boy. He was so darn cute. Izuku smiled and the kid leaned in real close and whispered into Deku's ear. Shielding the secret from me and I watched. He's so good with kids too. The boy smiled and looked at the hero with determination and then held up his finger, "Pinky promise you will do it!"
The greenette nodded his head and lifted up his pinky, "I solemnly swear that I will be very nice to Roachie."
My face went red as his green eyes locked onto mine. The smile that he wore was one of simple truthfulness. He clearly was not upset by the child's words at all maybe even enjoying them? No never why would he? The boy lit up and entwined his pinky, "Forever nice to them! Roachie deserves it cause they are very nice!"
I laughed and shook my head waving off the boy's wild imagination. I took him from the green-eyed man giving the small boy a big hug, "It was nice meeting you."
Then giving him to his mother and waved goodbye to the small boy. He and his mother left the station beaming to have her son in her arms again.
I stood still and sighed in relief. I looked and tossed the containers that had been sitting in my hand into the garbage. Before I could turn around so Izuku and I could continue on our mission of getting some new goggles I saw the captain. Her expression of deep-rooted anger directed towards me with her glare only made me grimace.
