Anna Stanley was a prodigy, she was good at everything she did, and if she hadn't tried something before - well she was good at it anyways, she was quiet when you first met her due to her anxieties, but when you got to know her she had the sickest sense of humor and could make anyone laugh.
Unlike her twin sister, Jessica, she wasn't even the tiniest bit judgmental, no she always met people with an open mind and she wore her heart on her sleeve, she even befriended the infamous ice queen, Rosalie Hale, after they made a project together in geography.
A trait she did very much share with er sister, though she never let it show, was jealousy. Because nothing was as it seemed. Yes, she was good in school, and it was true it didn't take much of an effort from her. Yes, she was kind and had a relatively large group of friends, but none she could tell the truth, truth being that the only emotion she ever felt was the feeling of being not just sad but depressed.
And when she wasn't depressed she was absolutely numb, she couldn't feel the love she held for her family, and they held for her. She couldn't feel the happiness or joy when she laughed at one of Mike or Erics stupid jokes, but oh how she wished she could, and the worst part was, she was normal.
Nothing made her stand out, nothing made her special or interesting, and no matter how much she cried out for death it never happened, and it didn't make her anything other than a burden, a pain in the ass, nothing. She was nothing, no one, and he made that so much clearer.
Now you would think meeting your soulmate, a person made to love you, would be a walk on roses, but it surely is not when you're dealing with suicidal teenager, and the perpetually angry vampire king, Caius Volturi himself.
