❝Be careful with you words, once they are said they can only be forgiven, not forgotten ❞
Anna wasn't naive, she had learned the hard way that trusting people was a bad idea. She was kind to them, she was friends with them, but she very rarely let people in.
Even when she cared about them deeply, perhaps especially when she cared about them, she didn't wish to be a burden to those she loved. She had a thing about putting others before herself, and when you put someone before yourself you teach them that it's okay to put you last, or at least that's what Anna thought.
Yet she had done it, she had been naive, after finding out the truth about Jacob she had expected things to change, for Bella to become okay again, (lord knows it'd probably be a while before the girl was more than just okay) and for Jake to stop ignoring her. However she couldn't have been more wrong, because nothing changed. Jacob was busy with 'wolf duty' whatever the hell that means, which left Bella feeling lonely (because who cares about Anna) seeing as she wasn't being prioritized, and Anna to feel exactly the same, why couldn't they just see her? Why couldn't they just choose her for once? if anything then just because she was the last option, just please choose me she would think, but it never happened, not until it was too late anyways.
FORKS, WASHINGTON
SWAN HOUSE
Bella Swan left an e-mail for Alice saying she was okay, but she wasn't, nothing was okay, she was lonely, possibly lonelier than ever, with Jake being right there yet so far away from her at the same time, she only ever saw Anna when the Stanley girl went to school, which was rare for Anna who always claimed it was a waste of time, easy for her to say when she didn't even have to try to be the best anyways (Of course what Bella didn't know was that It was because she simply couldn't leave her bed) and Bella had had enough, she just couldn't stand this anymore, whether that was what drove her to do it, or if it really was for the rush she couldn't tell, but she knew she was too scared to do it on her own, so she called the one person she could think of who never judged her and probably wouldn't Judge her for this either, Anna.
