Waves after waves of young witches and wizards entered the school, some shy and keeping the themselves and others already gossiping about the first years. We all kept moving towards the main hall, group by group filing in, I kept a hold on Leo's arm until I heard a commotion. I look towards the source of the noise only to be met with my sister and her group messing with what looked like a first year.

"Fleur! Stop pestering that poor girl you idiot" I screamed, her and her group finally stopped snickering and turned to face me, Leo far behind me seeing as I unhooked our arms and ran off

"and why would I do that?" she laughed, crossing her arms over her chest

"yea, why would she listen to her younger sister who can't even control her Veela powers" one of her goons pouted at me, snickering at the end

"I don't know, but you guys listen to her, and she isn't even that special, so what's thee difference with me? I mean, I am her sister, by blood," I kept inching closer to her group with every word, "you guys on the other hand are just mindless goons just trying to gain popularity, trying to let the fame overwhelm your insecurities, you being around her is just your way of numbing your own pain, but what you don't realize is it is causing you more. Also, you guys have no idea what I am capable of," I saw a look of horror in their eyes as I felt my eyes begin to burn

Why the hell are my eyes burning? I questioned, trying not to think about it too much

The girls began to shift uncomfortably under my gaze, my eyes still burning for some reason.

"Am I wrong?" I sneered, "and for you, Sister, you and you helpless little minions stop bothering her" a look of fear made its way onto Fleur's face, but was quickly replaced with an angry expression

"whatever." she muttered, turning on her heel to leave

I looked over at the girl in the corner, she was looking at me with thankful eyes. I made my way over to her until I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked over my shoulder only to be met with an amethyst gaze.

"What in the world was THAT" Leo questioned, obviously wanting to know what happened in more context

"I'll tell you later, but right now I want to talk to that gi- aghh" my hands reached up to my eyes as they began to burn more now

Leo took my hands in his, pulling them down from my face and looked into my eyes.

"Belle, have your eyes always... glowed?" he asked, still studying my eyes

"Well, your eyes look like storms right now, and every once in a while there will be  a lightning strike and it'll ... glow" he whispered the last part

"That's never happened before-" I said, trying to think of anything in the past where something similar happened but nothing came to mind

"Well, anyways I think we should go talk to that girl" Leo suggested, looking at the girl in the corner who was still staring at me

We began to walk towards her, a smile on my face. Right before we reached her, I felt Leo grab my hand and intertwine our fingers. Taken back, I looked over at him and he just laughed. We kept walking until we reached the corner the girl was in.

"hi, I am Belle Delacour, and you are?" I looked at the girl, she was really beautiful, she had darker, smooth skin, beautiful long black hair, and piercing green eyes

"I am Nicolette Lestrange" she replied kindly, her head slightly bowing towards me

"Your name sounds so familiar, oh and your wand is absolutely gorgeous" I said looking at her wand which she was fidgeting with
