Chapter 2- Ash

Hey, here's another chapter :3. Pay attention to red flags & foreshadowing & shit. There's a lot of that in this chapter (duh duh duuuuuuh).
Then I saw him, & everything instantly started feeling right again. The earth was pulled back into focus & I with it, & the moon & stars &... everyone was gazing into those dark brown eyes of his. [Yeah, I know this line is cheesy, that's kinda the point, lol]
I had never seen someone so seemingly perfect until I had laid eyes on him from across the dance floor.
He caught my gaze (or should I say "gay-ze", haha) & I quickly looked away, but not soon enough. He started heading my way.
"Hey, baby," He said suavely, voice like honey & body just as smooth as he sidled up beside me. "Your place or mine?" He winked.
I felt my face heat & I stuttered. "Uh... I don't know you, but uh-"
"Well, I'd like to know you, sugar," He crooned, 1 hand on hip as he visibly checked me out. "Damn, maybe I shouldn't be the 1 flirting..."
I blushed again, my insides melting from all the sudden attention. "Ugh, yeah... But, uh, I gotta go..."
"What, got a curfew or something? Still living with your parents?" He clicked his tongue as if to scold me & my eyes followed it. He quickly noticed me staring.
"Don't worry, I won't keep you long." He winked again. "Unless you want to spend tonight at my place, that is." He grinned.
"Uh, thanks..." I breathed out, trying to ease my nerves. "But I'd really just like to talk if that's ok..."
"Sure..." He grins & winks. "As long as this ends with you giving me your number."
"O-ok." I grinned slightly, feeling lighter than air. "I'm Ash, by the way."
He smiled a crooked toothy grin. "Adair."
Hope this chapter's ok :). I know it's kinda angsty & toxic right now. No spoilers, but I can assure you that Ash does not end up in a toxic relationship by the end. He's baby & doesn't deserve that. But anyways, see you later. Byeeeeeee :3
