Victor x Reader
A little bit of trust

If you had to name your favourite season, you used to be a hundred percent sure that it would be Summer. The smell of fresh air, the sun beating down on your face, and the simple feeling of being the happiest in the world made you just wish that you could live in a world where summer was forever.

You knew that as time went on, sumer began to slowly lose its meaning. You felt as if it was a simple break from the chaos that school made you feel, with each blink, summer went by faster and faster.

You met Victor in the summer. The teasing and flirting, the hugs and shared kisses. Meeting Victor felt like a gift from god himself, which gave you another reason to love the simple season.

Though slowly you felt your heart change, soon it wasn't summer that you loved, it was Autumn. You hadn't really expected this change, after all, you used to hate fall. You hated the cold attacking your ankles as you walked to school, you hated the stuffy noses and the cold you would get if you caught a chill.

Though for some reason it was Victor's favourite season. He loved Autumn more than anything. He had explained that Autumn made him feel safe, no gross bugs, no sun burns, the leaves would change into many different colours that made the ground look so beautiful. He explained how he loved stepping on the leaves when he walked through them, he loved the sound of them crunching.

It was also the season that he realized he loved you.

You shivered slightly when you opened the door to Victor's house. Like usual, his parents weren't home, you knew they would be soon, mostly because they always wanted you to stay for dinner, and with all due respect to his parents, you obliged each and every time.

"Hey baby, i'm here." You called from the bottom of the steps, kicking off your shoes, Victor called back from his room, telling you to hurry, you just rolled your eyes and walked up the stairs like usual, opening his door slowly.

"You don't have to be so slow." Victor chuckled, standing up fro his desk to give you a quick hug and a small kiss to your temple.

"I will be as slow as I want, it's cold as hell." You muttered, taking off the windbreaker you wore and grabbing a sweater from his closet, Victor just chuckled at this as you curled up into his blankets.

"It isn't even that cold yet, just wait until it's winter time."

"No, I would rather just skip straight to the warm seasons." You grumbled from under the covers.

"Come on babe, autumn isn't so bad, you just need to find the right people to spend it with." He shrugged, pushing his hair back with his hand.

"Well the person I do wanna spend it with is stuck doing homework from last semester cause they thought it would be smart to skip all their afternoon classes to catch frogs and beat them with sticks." You deadpanned, rolling out of his bed and placing yourself on his lap with a sigh.

"I'm almost done for today, then I can make you some tea, and breakfast. We can watch movies if you want too."

"Sweet talking me with tea and movies isn't going to help your case." You snickered, tapping the tip of his nose with your finger. Victor chuckled and shook his head, repositioning you so he could work on his homework. You just watched as he answered math questions, holding back the urge to correct him, mostly because he got the right answer anyways.

This was usually how you two spent these kinds of days together. Sometimes he would give up and cuddle with you, or you would give him a present under the table. It was nice, as much as you hated to admit it, you seemed to really like the days that Victor would just hold your hands until they warmed up, or would run the two of you a bath with bubbles and let you lay on him as you slowly warmed up.
