"Well, I have good news, bad news, and just some news — you can decide if its good or bad."

Tine's POV

"What is it? Just tell me already?"

I couldn't help but smile at the way Sarawat was trying so hard just to keep his eyes open. I loved all sides of him, but I especially loved seeing him all sleepy and disoriented in bed.

"I am too drunk to have a coherent conversation right now. How about we just sleep and discuss this over breakfast?"

"But you have to promise to tell me everything?"

"Ofcourse babe." I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and kissed his neck. "Now go back to sleep."

By the time I woke up, there was already a full breakfast spread ready in the dining room and Sarawat was sitting there, waiting for me. I had no idea when Sarawat's staff even came to clean the house or cook, because I hadn't seen anyone inside the house. The only staff I had seen were the four security guards on the main gate. May be Sarawat just wanted to make sure no one saw me because it would only create more problems for us. May be that's the only life we could afford together. Hiding behind four walls, hoping no one saw us.

"Hey you! Are you still sleepy? Why are you still standing there?"

"Ah. No. Nothing" I walked ahead and sat down in front of him. "Everything looks amazing. Though, I am not sure if I can finish it all."

Sarawat chuckled. "I woke up and realised I have never had breakfast with you before and I had no idea what you like to eat in the mornings. So I panicked a bit and asked the cook to make every type of breakfast possible."

I couldn't help but smile at his confession. "For future reference, I am not stuffy about breakfast. Just some toast, eggs, and coffee work for me."

"Future reference? Does that mean you will be staying here more and you don't have to go back early mornings every day?"

"Well, about that.." I took a big sip of coffee. "Let's start with the good news, shall we? Mom is okay with us dating. She took the news way better than I thought she would. She also wants to meet you, formally now, as my boyfriend. She wants to invite you for dinner, but after the elections because you know..."

"Yes, yes I know. if I go over there 2 months before elections, it might give off the wrong signal. I understand. I am just happy that is okay with us dating."

"Yep and that means we don't have to hide anymore, well at least, we don't have to hide it from people around me. Sammy will be sending some non-disclosures for you to sign. I already scanned through the documents and they seem pretty standard. But you can have your lawyers look at it too. Your security and other staff would also need to sign non-disclosures since I spend a lot of time here. In return, I get to stay here more and I don't have to run back to the house at 5am everyday like I am having an illicit affair.

"Anything to make you stay, Tine. I'll get all of the document work done as soon as possible"

Oh, and, I will have to introduce you to dad as my boyfriend now when we go to the island, because I can't hide things from him either. Mom might have already told him actually. Dad is not as easy to win, but at least there will be Pear and Fong to give us some buffer."

"Wow. Okay. I'll be on my best behaviour and I am sure I can win him."

"You really shouldn't be that over optimistic, Wat"
