"I know, Baker," he said to me, our lips brushing against each other as he uttered the words. My stomach was instantly filled with butterflies and my heart was thumping against my chest. I could have sworn he could hear it.

My eyes suddenly fluttered shut.

This wasn't like our first kiss. This was even better.

It was as though everything suddenly fell into place.

His hand tried to push my head closer, making the kiss more intense.

What the hell was happening?

I quickly brought my hands to his chest and pushed away.

"What do you mean you know?" I asked, knowing I'd regret cutting our kiss short. "What do you know?"

"Owen told me that you... um..." he hesitated looking down at the ground and stepping away from me.

I couldn't help but smile at how nervous he was.

"It's true you know," I whispered and smiled as he looked back up at me with his eyes wide. I nodded my head at him. "I really do love you, Charlie. With all my heart," I said slowly, making sure he could hear everything single word.

He took a step back towards me, grabbing my face.

"Say it again, Baker," he whispered.

"I love you!" I exclaimed, causing him to chuckle before his lips spread out into a big grin.

"You have no idea how happy I am to hear you say those words. I honestly never thought I'd ever hear them," he mumbled.

"Well get used to it," I said wrapping my arms around his neck, standing on my tippy toes.

His face was so close to mine. His hands cupped my face and he bumped his nose with mine before giving me a quick peck on the lips.

His thumbs wiped away the tears that had stained my cheeks.

"I really don't think I can," he chuckled, looking straight at me. I couldn't help but stare back, unable to control the grin.

I watched his eyes dart to my lips. He licked his lips before dipping his head down and placing his lips on mine for the third time today.

This was our fourth kiss. Our fourth kiss and yet my stomach was doing somersaults. I wondered if every kiss would feel like this.

Every time his lips touched mine it seemed to send me into another dimension. And yet it was like something - or someone else- took over my body. A new sudden confidence would take over my body. I had to get closer to him.

It was like I had been starving.

I knew I shouldn't be kissing him right now. We should be talking about what this meant. That was the sensible thing to do. But my body didn't care about what was sensible. Right now, I couldn't even think straight.

I could only think of one thing. His lips.

His lips were so soft. Softer than I remembered them to be.

His lips... were intoxicating. Scratch that. They were addictive. It was like I was a kid in a candy store. I needed to satisfy my cravings. I needed more.

Charlie quickly pulled away just when I tried to pull him in closer. My eyes instantly shot open and I whimpered at how cold I suddenly felt when his body left my grasp.

I watched him take a step back. This time it was his fault for stopping the kiss.

"I have a question,"  he asked, brushing his hair out of his face with his fingers.
