When I got to my room Pansy was in there getting ready.
She shot me a look because I was going with Draco. Honestly she was the least of my problems, and I was too excited to care. I showered, dried my hair and started doing my makeup.
When I finished I put my hair in light curls and pined it.
I put on my dress and my heals.
Lastly I put on my jewelry.
I looked in the mirror and smiled back at myself. I looked fine as hell not gonna lie.
I started walking out of the common room to go to the ball.
Draco was already there.
I turned the corner and walked down the stairs.
Everyone turned to me.
I saw Mia in the corner with Blaise and she was in shock.
Draco looked up at me and smiled as I walked down.
"Wow, you look gorgeous." He said.
Wow, no sarcasm or anything. I think he really means it.
"Thanks, you look nice as well." I said smiling back at him.
I turned to see Cedric saying hi to his friends with Cho around his arm. Draco turned and saw what I was seeing.
"Come on." He said nudging my arm. I reached out and held on to it as we walked in.
Draco was actually a very good dancer. I enjoyed being near him now.
Something I never noticed is that he smelled kind of nice. I guess I was distracted by his obnoxious personality that I didn't realize.
It was no longer about making Cedric jealous, it was about me having fun.
