I was in shock. I thought Cedric liked me, how could this be happening.

Draco followed where I was looking.

I looked down at my feet, I felt my eyes fill with tears.

Draco seemed concerned for me.

"I have to go," I said as I ran out before I could cry in front of him.

"Y/n, wait I-..."

D͟R͟A͟C͟O͟' P͟O͟V͟:

I watched Y/n as she ran out of the dance. I looked over at Cedric and glared at him.

I walked out and looked around to try and find her.

I turned the corner and I saw her sitting down hugging her knees on the stairs.

Y͟/͟N͟ P͟O͟V͟:

I ran out as fast as I could.

My heart was beating so fast.

I felt the hot tears fall down my face.

I collapsed on the stairs. On top of the pain I felt in my heart, I also felt pain in my feet thanks to the heals.

I sat in a ball and kept my head down.

I heard footsteps and didn't bother to look up, I already knew who it was.

"Y/n are you okay?" Draco asked as he sat down next to me.

"Congratulations." I said looking up at him.

"What are you talking about?"

"You were right about Cedric. You were right about everything. I should have listened to you." I said still sobbing.

"Y/n, it'll be okay." He said in a soft voice.

"What's wrong with me, why am I not good enough?"

He rubbed a tear off my face.

Before he could say anything I leaned closer to him and hugged him.

He rested his head on mine.

He rubbed my back as I cried.

C͟E͟D͟R͟I͟C͟'S  ͟P͟O͟V͟:

Draco just gave me the strangest look.

I'm not even sure what I did.

Y/n ran out right before him, but she seemed fine.

I hope everything's okay.

D͟R͟A͟C͟O͟'  ͟P͟O͟V͟:

  Diggory is such an idiot.

He doesn't even deserve Y/n.

She's perfect in every way, her personality, how pretty she is, how nice she smells.

It's not fair that he gets to make her upset like this.

And I'm not a fan of that Cho girl either.

Y͟/͟N͟ P͟O͟V͟:

When I was done crying I tried to get out of Draco's hug but he stayed there for a moment.

"Uh, Draco?" I said poking his arm.

"Oh right," he said letting go with a grin.

We smiled at each other.

"Let's get back to the common room." He said putting out his hand for me to grab it.

I nodded and we started walking.

I had my high heals in one hand and Draco's hand in the other.

He was truly such a great friend.

Or maybe even something a little more...?
