"Oh

"Oh. my. GOD!" Bree screeches, after I've told her the whole story. "There's no way, you're lying to me" she adds excitedly.

"I'm not lying" I laugh at her.

"Mila, I'm so incredibly happy for you! To be honest, I kind of knew that you guys were together, just from the vibes after meeting you two yesterday" she admits. "I didn't want to say anything in front of Jace though."

"Yeah, me too. I was excited to tell you, but it just would have been weird" I let her know.

"So" Bree starts. "How good is he in bed?" she wants to know, giving me a teasing smile.

"Shhh" I shush her, scared anyone could hear her.

Everyone probably already assumes that we had sex given Jace's reputation, but they don't need to hear about it. Bree laughs back at me. Some people in class pass us, walking over to their seat. Once they're gone I look at her and raise my eyebrows. I give her a slight nod with a smile, and she knows exactly what I'm trying to tell her.

"I knew it!" she almost screams. I laugh at her after looking around to check if anyone is staring at us. "Okay, so what's this weird morning about then?" she asks me intrigued.

"Do you remember when I told you about what happened in the park? Jace and I met Derek this morning" I explain her.

"Really? Did he pull another stupid move?" Bree asks me.

"No, because Jace was there. I guess I'm just curious about why Jace is friends with him. From what I can tell, he hates him just as much as I do" I tell her.

"I've never heard Austin talk about Derek, I don't think he knows him. But I agree with you, that is strange" she lets me know.

I shrug my shoulders. "I don't know, maybe I'll ask him about it later. I just don't have a good feeling about it" I say, opening the text for todays seminar on my iPad.

"I'm sure there's an explanation" Bree says, just as the professor starts the seminar.

At least I don't have to worry about my anxiety today, since all I can think about is today's weird incident. My first seminar comes to an end quickly.

"Alright girl, talk to you soon okay?" Bree says as we part ways at the class door.

"Yeah. Hey..." I start, keeping her from leaving right away. "Would you mind not talking to Sarah and Lisa about this? I don't think I want to deal with that right now."

"Absolutely, no word from me" she says, as she hugs me good bye.

Two more seminars to go today. I'm not in the mood to go at all and I'm already contemplating going home to my dorm room. Still, I know I need to pull through. If I start ditching seminars now, it's not going to get any better. So, about four hours later I'm finally done for the day. Not a single word from Jace.
