I was sad to see Hitoshi go, but I made myself walk away and not look back. If I had I probably would've clung to his legs and refused to let go. As I walk home I think about him. How he smiles and laughs. I don't think he smiles enough. Maybe I should bring him something tomorrow so he can start his day smiling.

When I get home I stride in and go to the basement door like usual until I hear my name being called.

"Denki!"

Shit.

Before I have time to run down the stairs my sister comes over and lifts me up.

"Kihito put me down."

"Let me hug my baby brother."

"I'm not a baby," I resist pushing her away.

"Cmon Denki, let a girl love you," my other sister, Taiyo, says as she embraces me from behind.

"Stop touching me. What are you two even doing here?" I question.

They both shrug as they move to stand next to each other.

"Mom said something about Kanpeki having good news," Taiyo explains.

"Kanpeki? He's coming here?"

The two of them nod.

"Goddammit."

I retreat to my room and try to calm myself down. I really wanted to tell my parents about the B I got on my last test but with the twins and my brother home they won't care. I go on my phone so I can think about anything but that. Eventually I calm down and decide to write Hitoshi a letter. Just thinking about him lightens my mood and hopefully when he reads it tomorrow he'll smile.

Dear Hitoshi,

I'm really glad I met you today, well technically while you're reading this it was yesterday but anyway I'm glad it happened. You're pretty cash money man and I can't wait to get to know you more.

"Oooo, who's Hitoshi?"

I gasp in a sharp breath as the voice startles me. I try to reach for the letter but Kihito beats me to it.

"Aww you used a sparkly pen to write it?"

I grab at the paper but it's out of my reach again as she hands it off to her mirror image.

"Is this for your boyfriend? When do we get to meet him?" Taiyo asks me.

"He's not my boyfriend just give it back."

"Not with that attitude he won't be."

They laugh with each other passing it around the room and always keeping it out of my reach.

"Please just give it back." I plead.

I'm angry but I feel tears pricking at my eyes. The feeling makes me even angrier and those tears start to fall. Taiyo sees it and immediately drops the paper and runs to me with Kihito not far behind.

"Awww. Baby brother don't cry. I'm sure he already loves you."

I try to wriggle out of their arms but it's no use. As I sit squeezed in between my two sisters I watch helplessly as my letter falls into the toilet.

"Get out! Get out! Get out of my room!"

I lose control. My limbs flail and words fly violently out of my mouth as tears rush down my face and my entire body lights on fire. It's as if my mind is calmly observing the chaos before me through my eyes as my body loses all control.

My sister finally lets go of me as little bolts of energy go everywhere and bounce of the walls. They try to come close to me again but my arms just continue moving. I don't want them to touch me, I don't want them near me. It feels as though if my arms were to stop they'd squeeze me so hard I'd die. My arms keep moving and I keep crying. I don't think I could stop if I wanted to.

"Denki calm down!" Kihito tries to soothe.

"It's just a letter, it's not a big deal!" Taiyo adds trying to yell over my screaming.

"Leave me alone!"

I grab the closest thing to me and launch a hair brush at them. They both dodge it obviously but with that they finally go upstairs and out of my room. I go over to the toilet and try to gently grab the letter, but as I lift it out of the water it tears in half and it almost physically hurts. I place it on my counter and the ink is smudged beyond recognition.

I lean back against my bathtub and eventually fall asleep defeated.

9:00 PM- Denki's Room

I wake up and the lights from my bathroom immediately burn my eyes. I get up and turn them off. As I make my way over to my bed I hear my name being said faintly from upstairs. I climb up my stairs and sit right next to the door and listen.

"Denki is in his room. Just leave him down there."

"Why?"

"He went crazy again, I don't know."

"Oh ok."

"I wish he'd just chill ya kno? It's a little annoying sometimes."

"Yeah, he's really sensitive. But we don't need him here to hear your news."

I get up after I've heard enough and go down to my bedroom. I get in bed and immediately fall back to sleep.

Hey dudes. So post writing Lucky here. I made all of their names with google translate (ik i'm a big dumb for that). like the genius i am i forgot to write the meanings of their names. but this is what i can recall. i believe akuruai has something to do with the sun, taiyo idrk, and kihito means bright child i think. don't @ me on this one guys. but i'll look at my search history and see if i can find out. stay tuned.

Kihito means yellow child
