chapter ten

i had spent the rest of the day in my room and honestly forgot about dinner at the curtis' place until i had heard a knocking at my bedroom window. i looked outside and saw dally, "what is it?" i asked him as i opened the window. "they asked for me to get you to come to dinner man." he said. "oh shit sorry i forgot uh yeah give me a second." i answered as i ran over to my closet and got my shoes on. we both crawled out the window and went to the curtis'.

we walked inside and two-bit immediately called for us when we walked in, "hey lovebirds." he yelled from the kitchen. "shut up." i said as i walked into the kitchen. "what it's true isn't it?" he said. "no." dally and i answered at the same time. "whatever you say." he said and held his hands up in the air and stepped backwards as i walked over to the dining table. he wasn't paying attention and he bumped into the fridge and everyone laughed at him, dally had just smiled. i sat down next to sodapop and steve and started to eat.
