chapter twenty-nine

school had went horrible and i fucking hate it so much. i have math class the last period of the day so as soon as the day was over i grabbed my bag and left. i walked down the hallway and outside of the building.

i had walked to the curtis' house and when i walked inside was met with all the boys, except ponyboy. "hey guys." i said as i dropped my back pack onto the floor and sat down on the couch next to dally. "how was school?" darry asked as he came out of the kitchen. "horrible." i blandly answered. "that sucks." darry replied. "yeah." i answered and sighed.

we had been hanging out for a while when i started to get bored, "i'm gonna get going." i said as i started to get up but dally grabbed my hand causing me to look down at him. "come over to bucks later there's a party." dally told me. "alright." i answered and squeezed his hand quickly before i walked out of the door.
