I'll post short things I've written here whenever I'm taking awhile to post new chapters to stories. Most of it will be mcyt based, other things will just be short ideas for random things.

Dream was lost in his own mind. Broken away from the real world.
No attachments, no weaknesses, the voice in his mind would tell him, putting images in his mind of all the strings to other people breaking; the image of Spirit in their grave.
The corruption taking over, he glanced at his hands, seeing the black veins that he would see often whenever this happened, hearing a muffled voice say something.
His eyes turned a deep, blood red, the demon inside of him having full control in the moment, the voice calling out something again.
"Dream!" Tommy called, snapping him out of his trance. "Are you okay? You spaced out there for awhile."
Dream nodded, quickly sliding his mask back onto his face.
"I'm done putting my stuff in the pit. . ." Tommy's emotionless voice told him. "You can do your daily bidding. . . i guess. "
"No," he finished, Tommy's face turning to one of surprise, and his eyes seeming to gain a bit of their color back.
"You get a free pass for today," Dream stated, looking behind him cautiously. "So get your stuff and-"
He was cut off by a tight and meaningful hug from Tommy, Tommy letting go and sprinting off with a grateful, "Thank you Dream!"
Dream reaching his hand out to Tommy as he ran, hearing the voices whisper and scream behind him.
His mask was taken off, turning into a red color while in the hands of the demon behind him, sad tears falling down Dream's face.
"Tsk, Tsk, Tsk," the creature sounded. "You're getting a little sidetracked there. . ."
"Remember. . . you chose this path," the demon told him softly, sliding the now blood-red mask over Dream's eyes, a burning sensation filling his face as his control was stripped away from him.
"Let's continue, shall we?"
