The truth hurts

When you look through
That nursery window
Do you look at all those
Babies
And say
To yourself
That blonde hair blue eyed baby girl
In the upper left corner
She's gonna be famous
That brunette with deep brown eyed baby girl
Right in the middle
She's gonna be a scientist
That black hair hazel eyed baby boy
In the front row
He's gonna serve
In the army
That red haired green eyed baby girl
In the lower right corner
She's gonna be an artist
Well that's not what I see
I see
A blonde haired blue eyed baby girl
In the upper left corner
She's gonna bully a boy his lowest point
A brunette with deep brown eyes baby girl
Right in the middle
She's gonna be diagnosed with depression
That black haired hazel eyed baby boy
In the front row
He's going to die of cancer
At only 5 years old
That red haired green eyed baby girl
In the lower right corner
Yes she's gonna be an artist
But her canvas is her arms
And her paintbrush
Is a blade
So you see something that will never happen
I see something
That will happen
Surprising huh but in a painful way
You know what also hurts
The truth
The truth hurts
