Light on the ceiling

As I lay here
On the cold wood floor
I stare at
The light
On the ceiling
That's bulbs burnt out
Years ago
But as I lay still
I shake
From the cold
But then I feel
Two strong arms
And something soft
Wrap around me
Bringing warmth
That I haven't felt
In forever
And I use
The last of my energy
To turn my
Aching head
To see
Who cared about me
To give me a second chance
As his two strong arms
Wrap me in something
Soft
I see in his eyes
The light from the ceiling
That was warming
My soul
Because that light
In his eyes
Was the
Love
That he had toward me
To give me a second chance
And just maybe
I'll take that chance
