Free a word misunderstood
But what if we could
Truly be free
We would hold the key
The key to our true selves the real us
The ones that cuss
The ones that wonder
The ones who would rather be six feet under
The ones who cut
The ones called "mutt"
The ones who try
The ones who cry
The ones who bully
The ones we are supposed to trust fully
The ones who are truly free
The ones who see what they don't want to see
But is that true
Will it be true
Why?
Because what is it
What does it mean
Free?
When I say "I'm free."
Why don't I feel like it's true?
Why don't I feel like I'm free?
Am I truly "Free?"
