Voices

I hear the voices
I heard them when
I was younger
But no one else
Can hear them
There's more than one
There's many
Some only talk to me
Once or twice
But some
Talk more frequently
Like Florence
She loves to talk
To me about the
Sunsets of 1824
Out on the docks
Of Gold Marie
Or Kolby
He just likes to listen
To my stories
Especially ones
With action
Lastly the one
Who talks to me the most
Is April
She doesn't like
To talk to others
That much
But she loves
To talk to me
Because she says
I look just like
Her but I can't see
Her
She loves to sit
On my bed
She says it's really
Comfy
And talk about how
She used to get
Letters from her husband
William while he was
At war
No one else can
Hear them
Only I can
I know their
Not imaginary friends
Their real
But nobody
Believes me
Because how
Can I hear them
When I'm completely
Deaf
