Part two of Playdate At The Park

Y/N POV

It's time for school to start and right now Ruby is getting ready. She comes out of her room with a red backpack and fixing her signature red cloak.

Y/N: "Ready?"

Ruby: "Yep."

Y/N: "Then let's go."

She grabs my hand and we walk to the local school. We arrive at the gate and she spots Yang with a yellow back pack. She runs to Yang and they start talking while heading inside.

Y/N: "Have a good day!"

She turns around to face me and waves.

Ruby: "I will!"

They head into the school when I hear a voice that I recognize.

Raven: "They seem to get along well."

I turn around to see Raven standing behind me.

Y/N: "Yeah, I can tell they will grow up as best friends."

We sit in silence for awhile when I speak.

Y/N: "Since the kids are away, do want to just hang out?"

Raven: *smiles* "That sounds nice, but my house is kind of a mess right now."

Y/N: "My house it is then."

We walk back to my house which is only a few blocks away.

Y/N: "You thirsty?"

Raven: "I could use a drink."

I head to the kitchen and open the fridge.

Y/N: "I don't drink alcohol so I hope you don't mind a juice box."

Raven: *laughs* "Not at all."

I grab two, hand her one and plop down on the couch.

Y/N: "So Ms. Raven, what is it you do for a living?"

Raven: "I mostly work for the nearest library."

Y/N: "Why a library?"

Raven: "Less stress and lets me get to Yang quickly in case of a emergency. What is it you do?"

Y/N: "I make deals for Jacques Schnee."

Raven: "That's a good job."

Y/N: "Yeah, the pay is good and he is really laid back. He understands my situation and forgives me when some things come up."

Raven: "Sounds like you got a god job."

Y/N: "Yeah, I applied because I want to make sure Ruby grows up to have a good childhood."

Raven: "You really are a good man."

Y/N: "I try to be."

Raven: "Y/N."

Y/N: "Yeah?"

Raven: "Are you in a relationship?"

Y/N: "No why?"

Raven: "Look, I'll just come out and say it. I like you and have ever since I found out your relation with Ruby."

Y/N: "You are the most blunt woman I have ever met."

Raven: "So, are your feelings the same?"

Y/N: "Yeah."

Raven: "Good."

She sets her juice box down and pounces on me like a horny cat.

Raven: "Because we have some time before the kids return and I want to convince you that I really care about you."

Y/N: "Aren't we moving a little too quick?"

Raven: "Not if we feel the same for each other."

Y/N: "Well, can't argue with that logic. Come here."

I pull her close and well, you can guess what happens after that.

*timeskip*

I sleep soundly in my bed when I feel something move closer to me and wrap around me. I subconsciously pull it closer and am greeted by soft hair. I smile figuring out that it's Raven and try to go back to sleep. I'm not able to when the door to our room bursts open and something starts jumping on our bed.

Ruby: "Wake up! It's morning!"

Yang: "Yeah, wake up mom and dad!"

Y/N: "Alright, just stop shaking the bed."

They stop and we both sit up. We then get ready and head to the park.

Ruby: "I bet I can build a sandcastle faster than you!"

She takes off to the sandbox with Yang chasing after her.

Yang: "Hey, you cheated!"

We laugh at their competition and take a seat on the bench we first met at. I sit down with Raven sitting on my lap and leaning onto my chest.

Raven: "It's funny."

Y/N :"What is?"

Raven: "How it feels like only yesterday we met each other in this spot. Now we're married and our kids are practically inseparable. It's amazing how fast time can fly by."

Y/N: "Yeah, but I'm not complaining."

Raven turns around and kisses me then lays her head on my chest.

Raven: "Neither am I. I love you Y/N."

Y/N: "And I love you Raven."
